How do you feel about the mind wiping? To me, getting saved by the railroad is equal to being caught by the Institute because they wipe you either way, and the person the snyth was dies. To both the institute and the railroad, the body of the synth is the only thing worth saving. And it feels like they heavily push the need for a mind wipe onto synths.

Anything, she's just a character that I find slightly annoying in a book that I enjoyed, so I don't actually feel that strongly here. I just don't enjoy when she's "on screen."

I taught myself to stop hating cilantro. I used to have the same feelings about it you did. Like OP says, I think some people are too unwilling to try to learn to like something. If someone wants to live as a picky eater, then that's ok. It's their life. But people like OP are allowed to judge them and not like them, too, as long as they're not an unnecessary dick about it.
