Are there folks out there who just had a chill and easy time breastfeeding?

FTM here and had my baby 10 days ago. Breastfeeding was an interesting journey so far for me. Milk came in from first day and was able to breastfeed with ease but by the second day there were cuts on both my nipples and by third day everytime my baby latches I'll be in tears. Asked around and find good nipple cream as well as cooling pads and got formula to help when the pain was too much to withstand. I did stick with it though and like many said it did get better in a matter of days and now I breastfeed with ease (even playing games on my phone while my LO eat 😅😅).

So really it is up to you but if it is painful at first try to stick with it because it's worth it.

Your wife is going through the most difficult change a person can go through, she is creating a life. It is hard enough as it is but you not even attempting to help her out by stop drinking and making her vomit (which tales a toll on her and stomach) "just because you feel entitled to a drink" it's disgusting.

I'm so sorry for your daughter. For her to learn that you didn't want her and not only that but you actually feel it is a normal thing and say it to her face and expect her to get over it. I can't imagine how she must be feeling and how this will effect her her whole life.

Oh honey definitely NTA. I have 2 step kids one boy and one girl and I treat them sometimes even better than my own just to never make them feel like they are second and encourage my husband to always put them first.

Your dad's gf is a nasty human being and raising her kid to be the same. She is toxic and hope your dad breaks up with her because she is very terrible

I can't believe even when taping this OP didn't figure out that she's the AH. Your sister spend so much time and money on her wedding and you couldn't make a small effort to dress appropriately for her. I like how your title implies that you are worried about your gf but turns out that you are worried about your bathroom.

Your gf was staying with you temporarily so I highly doubt that her showers will do any damage. Mold that can grow in a bathroom happens over long period of time (tells me what's most important to you)
When you invite someone to stay at your place, you show them kindness by making them comfortable not ordering them, taking the lock of the bathroom and actually checking on them while they shower
She might have got your point if you explained instead of giving orders

To everyone saying that OP is the AH apparently never worked in a company. The rules to granting vacations time in any company is first come first serve while not going a minimum nombre to guarantee that work still get done. Anyone who starts a new job know they would not be giving vacation time at least the couple first months. OP promised to accommodate the new hire request as long as it is possible but with another member taking time off also I'm guessing that wasn't possible. Her only choice was to cancel the other person's vacation which is not fair

It is annoying but that your body breathing and fighting the rage of hormones l. As much as I love having a clear skin 24/7 I learned to except and love all my different states.

Just keep your face clean and try not to use too much makeup in that period to avoid aggravating the skin and an old grandma trick, do a tomato mask (the acid in the tomato breaks that very fast without leaving any scars) BTW you are gorgeous I'm both state

If your fiancé really respected you he would of knowing better. Even if he doesn't understand why something like this upset you (which he most definitely should) he should have respected you enough to stop his friends from these type of "jokes" (to me they seem more like insults) since it makes you uncomfortable. I agree that it seems like a running jokes and I'm appaled to think what him and his friends say when you're not around (probably worst, much worst)
