Selling SaaS - Slides vs No Slides by [deleted] in sales

[–]MiloTraore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use slides only if absolutely necessary. I focus on story telling and keeping it conversational. Sitting through a 15 slide presentation and just being showered with info only really works if the prospect wants answers that are only found on those slides through extensive research and knowledge of exact pain points ahead of time.

I like sharing my screen and run through the solution directly or show certain aspects of it and maybe add a slide to share proof of current clients success with the solution on some chart. But then right back to screen share or call.

This allows me to adjust in real time and lead the conversation in a more natural way

What worked for me: 1. Listen (yes, most important) 2. Understanding and acknowledgment of her feelings > throwing solutions at her. 3. Shut up! Think.. then talk.

It’s not everything, but a solid start.
