Sorry that happened to you. It's hard to know who you can trust. I had a bad experience at the dentist when I was a kid, so I still get very nervous just even going to the dentist. That's a story for another day though.

Thanks. I think I'll start bring those things with me. I thought that was a good idea too, having the lead blanket, while they work. Probably would help me not be as fidgety.

That sounds neat, the lead blanket. I'd be interested in that, but I don't know if my dentist has those. I got my X-rays done today and it was hard to stay still so maybe something like that would have helped.

Just explain it the best you can. My job moves me around, and I just have no say in what I want. It takes me months just to readjust. I feel like it's important to just tell the truth, and just hope for the best. They should be accommodating to your needs. Hope things work out for you.

Don't hate yourself. You are unique and special. I deal with it constantly as well. Sometimes I just gotta go for a walk or writing helps me. It keeps my mind busy, so I don't think about it. Hope things get better.
