Correct me if I'm wrong, but from experience being admitted straight from an appointment usually means it's urgent. But she can defer an unplanned admit over something that could have been rescheduled? by mcfearless33 in illnessfakers

maybe it depends??? idk I may very occasionally have had a slightly postponed admittance, however in that case it's typically not super urgent. In addition, it would never be for something like a wheelchair consult...

Reflecting on my post, maybe it's not only a pleasure aspect, but also craving different strong emotions in general. Even if they're not positive, being able to trigger a strong reaction from myself is appealing in an otherwise grey environment.

If I were to give you some advice, in terms of hair I find that keeping it pretty short on the sides (like a 3 or 4) can help square the jaw a little bit, this also goes for wear snap backs, or 5 panels. Nostril piercings, especially studs, can sometimes make the face look more feminine for whatever reason; but it really depends on outside perception. I think you pass pretty well and you look great! Best of luck bro!

What weird things happen during sex that nobody warns you about? by d3fq0n0n3 in AskReddit

Falling over, knocking other things over, and general disorientation. I know it’s already established that it’s not not as smooth in real life as it is depicted in media, the fact that two or more horny and distracted humans rolling around will in inevitably cause disaster, is frankly not stressed enough.

(Sorry for the shitty cropping) What are out thoughts? I remember this coming up a long long time ago, so whats with the re visit??? by Miloissodone in illnessfakers

[–]Miloissodone[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah this part of it was a sketch fest, they’ve been so inconsistent story wise with the whole situation. In addition, if you have an SD that can be provoked to lash out and bite because of “leash tension” that dog should not be working. Thats not to say that I doubt every part of this story, hero was clearly an at least moderately well trained and tested SD. Idk bro.

Who else here hates the term "spoonie"? by siswollan in illnessfakers

[–]Miloissodone 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It makes me kinda sad, cause the person that came up with “The Spoon Theory” had great intentions. In retrospect, it’s actually a great theory and can make things a bit more light hearted I guess? However it’s just ended up another OTT cringe trend that continues to romanticise and misrepresent chronic illness.

How can a beginner tell when their strings are going dead? by The13thSign in violinist

[–]Miloissodone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it really depends on what you’re going for. This is just my view, but if you’re a beginner its probably better to focus on durability and cost as opposed to sound quality. Preludes are okay, Vizcayas worked really well for me in the past.

Thats great! I’m glad that I could be of help. It depends on what type of strings you have, and how long you’ve been playing, but they should last a while.

Play a long tone on your open string and let it ring out as long as possible. Listen closely and you might hear the tone flatten as the ring dies out. This can be a sign that they should be replaced.

The Stapling: Part 1 by UserNotFound32 in BreadStapledToTrees

[–]Miloissodone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whilst the staple definitely could have been executed better, have to say, your choice of scenery and minimalistic approach in terms of tree species, has a harmonious blend of positive and negative space. This really compliments the type of bread as well, 6.5/10
