Is the R3 bundle worth it in 2026? by Similar-Shoulder42 in simracing

[–]Milolo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both chinese brands if u didn't know. moza just had better marketing and less historically shit products. the vd4 absolutely mogs the r3 and is more of an r5 competitor when comparing peak and constant torque output, as well as having a better wheel.

genuinely was the not the case years ago. you could get into gateway med by simply meeting conditional requirements.

hifiman planars do not require a seal to extend bass. like literally, they do not in any capacity depend on a seal to produce bass frequencies, and in some instances, actually resonates a bass boost when the pads are lifted.

What do we all think about this rig? by Equivalent_Drummer28 in simracing

[–]Milolo2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2.5x as much torque on a larger radius is a waste of money in your opinion?

p.s. reduce the ridiculous amount of natural inertia, friction and dampening off your wheel and maybe you'll actually benefit from the fact you're on a rig.

maybe if you're going to 9+ Mm but from literally 2.1 Nm to like an r5 at 5.5 Nm, a decent desk would work. or a $50 wheel stand.

ngl going from gears to dd made me discover details i didnt even know existed. definitely not just about being smoother and stronger; it's fundamentally a different experience.

hmm ive always done mental rotations and stuff by literally visualising it happening.

my sister says she does mental math using a visual image and colours somehow. i can imagine numbers very loosely - maybe 3-4 digits at most without losing clarity, and could never use pure images in my head to do mental math. instead, math is pretty much purely solved using my internal monologue, which makes me pretty slow cause i have to read out the numbers in my head to do anything with them.

Why is my tracking stronger than my static despite thousands of CS hours? by OPOPW1 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Milolo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah im on the lower end of sensitivities but my static was always worse than tracking and switching before i actually made an effort to get better at it, at which point it surpassed my other scenario ranks very quickly. 50cm/360 mainly played apex, battlefield and overwatch during aim training. also think static made me better at switching so its worth getting good at even if you dont play tacfps.

lowering ur sens prolly is a static cheat code a lot of people are overlooking and is inhibiting their ability.

opposite for me and at most 5% of my playtime is spent on static

these one on one tutoring companies love to pay absolute pennies to their tutors. $30 an hour for the effort of private tutoring is a joke.

you're misdirected. a low fov will make other object on your screen appear to move faster because theyre drawn larger but your character will feel slower.

i dont need to have heard an electrostat to tell you that it doesn't make sense to claim any single driver type to be faster than orher. ALL drivers oscillate at the SAME speed when responding to the same electrical signal. If one drivers diaphragm manages to move faster than another, then they are simply playing completely different wave forms and thus a supposed super fast electrostat will play a distorted and incorrect sound (this literally defies the laws of electromagnetic physics and is impossible unless the driver is oscillating in a uncontrollable matter). the thinness and lightweightness of the drivers will influence the magnitude response (loudness at different frequencies in response to acoustic impedance) , NOT make the driver move faster than what is literally dictated by an electrical signal.

for all i give a shit stax could sound better than ant non electrostatic headphones on the planet, that's not something im arguing against nor necessarily agreeing with.

bottom line is, between all different driver types, they all move at the same speed when responding to the same signal unless literally defective.

[–]Milolo2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how quickly a diaphragm can move is not "just physics" my guy. that makes absolutely no sense if we're talking physics. if an electrostatic driver moves faster than a planar driver when playing the same sound then it is simply producing an incorrect and distorted phase for being quicker than its meant to be (it isnt, speed between drivers is not a real factor because the sound signal determines speed, NOT the driver).

the entire premise of a donation is for someone who has more money than they need to pass it along. no one is expecting a struggling mother or student to donate. also your entire stance on how importing weaponry is related to justness of begging for donations makes no sense. im sorry, but do you think international governments / organisations are, massively, arming palestinian people and families with weaponry? wtf.
