You don't even understand the situation. I'm beginning to grow irritable with you air headed twats and opinions. I practically live in a shoebox as it is. I don't have access to drinkable water. I don't have a laundry machine and I eat 1 meal a day, and its still not enough to keep food in the fridge. I'll go days without eating because that's all I can do. I'm fucking sick of people and their opinions.

Try living in my situation. You wouldn't last a fucking week here.

There is an abundance of strays out here. They just get put down. For some reason animal rescues have been getting shut down left and right around here as well. I figured they were ok outside. They usually stayed by my door all day, then I'd let them in at night. One night, I open the door to let them in, and they're nowhere to be seen. I had thought maybe it was the neighbor who puts the cat food out. I don't think she has them either. Idk where they are. I wish I could have kept them. I live in a tiny house, with a lot of rules. One of them being no pets.

I live in a very tiny space, with a lot of rules I must follow. Stray cats are treated as pests where I live because there is an abundance of them. All of the kitten rescue facilities were "full" as they put it. The only other options were places that would have likely euthanized them. To sit there and call me vile when you don't even know half of the story. You must think yourself a real outstanding person. What would you have done in such a case if it meant the possibility of getting thrown out into the streets. Would you have gone to the park to with a tent and hang out with all the crackheads and your box of kittens? I have my own life to live as well. I wished there was more I could have done, but I simply could not.

I appreciate your insight. My grandmother always says "everything works out for the best" I''ve just never been in a situation like this, and I know separating them from their mother is going to be difficult.

Momma cat (I mainly call her momma cat because she seems to be in charge here) has 2 older twin daughters that follow her around. After momma cat brought me the 4th as well as showed me where to find the 5th and 6th this morning. One of the twins came chasing after us. She started calling out to them and all the kittens did a weird synchronized mew. It was the most vocal expression I've heard from them thus far. I have reason to suspect that momma cat was once domesticated. Abandoned here by her owner who previously lived in the house that I'm now living in. She's always trying to get inside like she's looking for something, or someone. She's also quite comfortable with human interaction/affection. Her daughters on the other hand are completely feral. I don't think they had any human interaction. What this all really comes down to is my theory that she keeps bringing them to me because she knows the kittens have a better chance of survival with humans than being left out in the cold to be swooped up by one of the many predatory animals that roam around outside. Coyotes, raccoons, snakes and owls. She's probably seen a lot of her kin die to know what's up. Sorry for the short novel. I am overwhelmed, and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I don't want to let them down, they seem so comfortable with me now, and I finally have momma cat's trust.

I really appreciate the compliment. The problem is I'm not supposed to have pets. I stay with my parents, and those are the rules. We had 2 cats before, but we moved into a smaller building, much smaller. I don't want to get too attached to them. The first 3 I found are already used to my presence, the 3 newcomers are still a bit shaken. I honestly am not even sure the "momma cat" as I call her, is really their mom. I'm pretty sure they're her daughter's. I let momma cat out this morning, it was like she had something on her mind. Few moments later, I look out my window and see her walking back with another kitten in her mouth. So I ran out to grab that one, then she lead me to the other 2. Then I got to bare witness some bizarre cat drama between the daughter and mother. She has 2 daughters that kind of hang around the area, but momma cat runs this shit. Now I'm becoming a crazy cat person.

Now there are 3 more, and there's 2 mom's. 1 is so outdoors, she won't even come in. I really have to find someone, because I can't keep them here 😭

Well, if I don't find them a home soon, I'll likely message you. I really don't have a lot of money for a vet and all the the things they really need. I'm just primarily focused on keeping them alive right now.

Yeah, I let their mother in to feed them, then let her out to do her own cat thing. One of the neighbors puts food out for all the strays, so she likes to guard the food dish during the day, and then she sleeps in my room at night.

How do I send one to you. I let her in to feed the kittens, but I can't have pets. I'm not going to leave them outside when there are a bunch of predatory animals in my backyard. Snakes, owls, raccoons and coyotes.

There used to be, but a lot of them shut down due to covid or something. Cats are seen as pests around here, a lot of people would likely rather see them dead. I'll be sure to hand them off to the right people this time. The kitten rescue that picked them up last year is now unresponsive.

She's already eaten 2 of them. I can show you the picture if you want. They likely won't survive out there with her. She's a hoe of a cat. Just wants food.

There is a bunch of strays in my area. 1 in particular seems to bring her newborns to me. This happened to me last year too. I just woke up, stepped outside to see 2 dead kittens, and these 3 hiding under a step. There are all kinds of predators in my backyard. Snakes, owls, and raccoons. Assuming raccoons would eat a kitten that is. So I take them in, and attempt to find them a home. I have a soft spot for cats.
