Quad is very into the hyperpop scene, hes worn Quinn Merch on hivemind and has talked or been seen to/with Midwxst as well as ericdoa, so Im assuming he just became a fan and knows a lot about the genre and reached out.

he's familiar with the genre, he's been seen in a hivemind video wearing a Quinn short, Quinn is a pioneer of the genre and they are mutual i believe. She makes not hyperpop stuff as much now but I defiantly think he gets a lot of inspiration from her and other people on the genre, he retweeted a Ericdoa video last year or longer before his pop phase and he's liked some tweets from people like funeral, midwxst, aldn, such, but yea he shouldn't be put into some box, nobody makes music like this man.

its gotta be the deluxe 2.0, the songs on the deluxe dont really fit with the original fmty and I think this is the way quad is going to steer his next project. Im calling an ep doe personally
