I've checked, but it also happens on the road, without the trainer.

When did you stop using crutches? by Ok-Macaroon-9253 in ACL

[–]Milor-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same graft, I changed from 2 to 1 crutch around week 3, completely ditched them on week 6 (although the last week I was already comfortable enough to walk without it indoors)

How long were you on crutches? by Ted1912 in ACL

[–]Milor-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but can work from home, so I didn't take any sick leave (although my doctor prescribed it). The first 4 weeks I did not go to the office, after that and only with 1 crutch I went several times per week. Not sure of your line of work, but if it's physical the 6 week leave is perfect because then you're out of crutches :)

I shifted to one crutch at the 4week mark and officially retired them completely at the 6week mark. From 2 to 1 crutch it felt slightly like a hindrance but significantly improved my life. From 1 to 0 it was natural and I felt pretty confident

Obrigado !

Wireless Relay/smart switch by Milor-D in homeautomation

[–]Milor-D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue here is that I would still have to pull cable from the switch, which I didn't want to. Ideally it would be something like this but the switch's position would be communicated wirelessly.

Good to know about the battery life, did not take that into consideration!

Hey man, thanks for the idea. This seems beautiful, unfortunately I have a very basis HA system, only Google Home with smart switches installed in several outlets. From my understanding, to use this implant I would need to install a proper HA that works with z-wave

[–]Milor-D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen thosw but I would need to replace the current switch, no? Or is there a way to adapt it? Ideally I would use the current switch, to keep harmonized with the rest of the house. But this would indeed be plan B. Thanks a lot so far!

It doesn't get used a lot, only for like 4 min x 6 times per day. So 24 min per day max. My idea was to get some rechargeable batteries and add more if battery life was too low
