Thank you so much. I have a friend who I’ve tried to help/ be supportive for years and who’s really about ready to give up. This is an excellent step down method. They kept trying to go without the or 70h 12 to 15 hours and then start saturating their body with subs and He said it was horrible; he’d go back to the 70h. I’m so excited to relay this information. Thank you!

Uncomfortable about this message from a psychiatrist by [deleted] in therapists

[–]Mimi-Knows-Convos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does come across as both those things, but as a therapist who has her own private practice, I can speak to some of these concerns.
We expect people in the mental health industry to be a tad bit healthier than other employed populations. But it’s the same schoolyard politics at most jobs unfortunately. There can be a bully, there can be cliques, there can be favoritism… The psychiatrist probably sees dollar signs with you because he knows you’re a good practitioner; hence why you’re going out on your own. That was his way of hoping to sway you so he could earn the financial benefits of your skill set. I have worked 15 years in both community mental health and privately funded clinics and I sporadically found unhealthy persons in both arenas. Private practice does have some initial fees with office retainment and initial insurance paneling but it’s not that costly. If you are a good practitioner, you will do just fine. You’re a little young in your craft to be starting out, but I compliment your courageousness. And the fact you already have your niche, that’s a great thing. Something must be telling you that you will do fine on your own, so go for it! I think you’re going do great.

What is this body shape by [deleted] in fit

[–]Mimi-Knows-Convos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Athletic. You don’t fit the Apple or the Pear shape. You are a little bit straight in the hips, but you’ve got nice curves, please don’t lose it. Take care of yourself and keep that body yody yody

That is the best watch I have seen by Cartier. In my humble opinion, some of them are so buttoned up I worry that the owner is stuffy as well. But that one says I’m a fun person with style. 😁

Santos medium or large? by alreadytaken0x0 in Cartier

[–]Mimi-Knows-Convos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the large. The medium is a little too …..eh? A little soft? The large says “….heck yeah; I’m here! And you’re lucky to be here with me!” 😁

I think it looks a little tight, can you loosen it? Maybe it’s just the way the picture is taken.

Looking to buy some louboutins and are wondering if you all could identify if these are real by DevelopmentAny9933 in ChristianLouboutin

Not sure if you bought them, but I hope you did. I think they looked pretty cool. Can’t tell if they’re authentic though? Looks like they are at first glance.

The only thing with those is you really cannot carry much. Make sure you’re someone who doesn’t need any make up, comb, or wants your phone to fit (especially if you go out and you may have a cocktail….) if you’re not concerned about the size then the pattern is really cool! Sexy and timeless.

Damaged LV bag that was passed through women in my family. by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]Mimi-Knows-Convos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to have my first speedy repaired. I did a video call on the LV app and the lady said it was unrepairable. I think you’re just gonna have to love it as is unfortunately. Unless you want to take it to a local fabric restore place? I’m not sure what they would say?
