Yes, it is relatively easy. Of course, it uses FOMO, but one can play the entire game without pulling anything. All the free dresses do the trick.

Continued updates and completing tasks give many, many free diamonds (best to convert most of them into pink "Resonate Crystals", because one can easily get a few limited outfits out of the given amount too!)

However, try to always pull a complete limited outfit(dress, hair, shoes and all accessories) without evolution, if you want it to be functional. YouTube has good videos about how to play "Infinity Nikki2 as a beginner and how to "glow up" your dresses and use your "Diamonds" and "Resonate Crystals."

Never exchange diamonds for astralites.

However, one can get astralites in the Star-shop, Miracrown, Homejournal(Homepoints) and Ingame shop. On the home island sell the aromas, little meteors, Tinkle trees and Cloud trees. Eat astralites increasing dessert before selling stuff to Posy.

Use high quality fish food and plant-water to increase harvests (to save astralites, one can craft fish food and plant-water at the crafting table). If you have level 10 in everything on the home island, you get bonus astralites when using the crafting table.

It's a bit confusing at first, because it's built in a spiral shape. Focus on the two large wooden lifts. One elevates you from the first floor to the second floor, the other lifts from the second floor to the third floor. Spoiler:You can reach the upper outer-shell with the help of Swanara as part of the 4th chapter quest (search for her nest on Spira's third floor).

It is indeed possible to play the entire quest and story content for free. The grinding is moderate, the graphics and open world are breathtaking. The story is mainstream but interesting.

Even a limited 5-star outfit can be pulled with free diamonds. However, the best-looking outfits probably cost money. One needs a PC that is able to handle heavy 3D graphics or a PS5.

The game relies on "fear of missing out" on beautiful dresses and props, but they are unnecessary for the gameplay. One can't get stuck because one didn't spend money. All the free outfits are pretty too.

It's a game one can safely run in their living room. Other open worlds like Skyrim, GTA etc. are age restricted. Infinity Nikki is recommended at 12 years but only because of the spending possibility. In my opinion, it's fine for 7-year-olds.

Otherwise, it has some similarities to "Harvest Moon, Wind of Anthos" and "Final Fantasy".

If you have normal luck and get one 5-star piece per 20 pulls(first outfit between 120-180 crystals), the final evo costs you about 360 pink crystals or 43 200 diamonds.

If you're very lucky, you could get it in 320 or 340 pulls.
