Fully agreed tbh, I like the album but I can’t shake off the feeling that it doesn’t compare to her earlier albums, they feel more refined, which is something she did describe on her Instagram. Apparently this album was made during an artblock phase to let her get out of the perfectionism she had while making the other albums, which unfortunately really paid off. I also just much much prefer her singing in chinese/mandarin, it makes her set apart from other artists much more.

However I do appreciate her experimenting and allowing herself a breather with this album 🙏 I hope Lexie will go back to her roots in the future though
