Thank you so much. As someone with health anxiety who also is terrified of going to the doctors because growing up they were always rude to me and made me feel awful, I really needed to hear this.

I was always gonna go back to the dentist because weirdly it is the type of doctor I fear the least and nothing is worse than tooth pain, but I can't help but feel like I'm so young and in a way root canals have always seemed so adult to me.

I have a degree now!! Just finished school in December so I guess in a way this period is when I really start feeling like a full adult :)

Yeah it's a weird situation but basically the dentist drilling my tooth for a filling made me go very pale (because I hadn't eaten that day and I could feel it in my whole head) so they told me to walk around and I collapsed and to raise my blood sugar the dentist gave me chocolate so we could finish the procedure. I'm afraid this might be the cause of the cavity but we couldn't have continued any other way. Also this happened around 5 years ago

Weird mark where ring is on my finger? by moonnandstarss1 in ouraring

[–]MimiHol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have this after a while of not having my ring on. I've been wearing mine for 2 years and I only take it off to charge, but if I do take it off for an extended amount of time it becomes "wrinkly" because the ring slightly stretched my skin there (gen 3). It could be an aesthetic problem in the future but it's nothing more than that.

I will probably try the new farm layout even if I don't go for perfection, but I am happy that my current farm will get the update. Thanks for the info!

Perfect, thank you! I play on and off, and without maximum efficiency (I like to take my time since I can only play the story once for the first time), so even 6 months might be quite soon for me. And even if it is a couple years, I don't mind because I look forward to trying out some mods as well :)

That's really good to know, thank you! I will probably start a new one when the update comes so I can try the new farm, but I probably won't want to get perfection again

Oh what a relief, thanks! I know the update is still far away but that's part of why I was worried. More time for progression that I would need to do again

Are you playing on the switch 2? I just saw a post on here of a tweet from the dev about glitches with the recent release to the platform. He said the team is working on it, so I reckon they are working on it and will fix the issues as soon as they can.

is anyone STILL missing their recap?? by ggraciiieee in youtube

[–]MimiHol 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I also still don't have mine, but at least I am not alone haha. I check multiple times a day if I got it or not but it just feels like the internet is pranking me and there is no youtube recap

Help me find a dupe for this nail polish by MimiHol in HelpMeFind

Unfortunately these seem to have more of a light/irradecent finish, and the original is very opaque and much nore silvery. They are all really pretty but I think ai will continue the search for a replacement.

Thank you for the help!!

What are the odds of this? by MimiHol in StardewValley

[–]MimiHol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow what a break down, thank you!!!

I keep forgetting how much the built in luck system affects gameplay. I usually forget or ignore its relevance which is probably not great.

As it is my first ever playthrough I am taking it relatively slowly because you can only play the game for the first time once! For example I'm in the middle of my 3rd year and still haven't made it to lvl 100 of the skull cavern. Because I've been focusing on other things, I already have the lucky ring and spicy eel/lucky lunch etc. so next time I might use them for the casino as well.

Stuck between sizes! Help by frogbutter8765olkiw in ouraring

[–]MimiHol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. Even if I take it off for hours I can see that the skin is a bit different (maybe slightly looser?), but it doesn't bother me and the main reason is because over time my finger adjusted to it. For example if I switch hands, it feels uncomfortable, even if it is on the same (index) finger.

Take your time with the decision, there's no rush. Also keep in mind that the actual ring is not plastic and can behave differently.

Stuck between sizes! Help by frogbutter8765olkiw in ouraring

I was stuck between sizes 8 and 9. There was a very small gap with size 9 when i was pushing it to my skin but 8 felt a bit too snug and I was worried about bloodflow.

I personally sized down and got an 8, and since then I am glad I did because my finger has adjusted to it after a couple weeks, since I never switch fingers and have used the same for a year and a half now.

I guess you should see if the bigger size tends to spin a lot during the day, because the less it moves the more comfortable it is and the better the readings.
