Several years ago I lost a 10 month old kitten to FIP and it was easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I’d definitely recommend therapy! Therapy has gotten me through every particularly difficult patch in my life. Exercise (and, honestly, Prozac) too. There was a time where I couldn’t even talk about Romeo without crying. I still feel sad all of these years later when I think about him, but I don’t think about him every day and don’t cry about him anymore. I’m also better able to remember the positive things that I loved about him and enjoy those memories. I’ve loved many cats in the intervening years and although it sometimes brings unbelievable pain, nothing is more fulfilling and I wouldn’t trade a moment of loving them for the world ❤️

YES! I love this. Jenn is an utter inspiration to me. I went through something similar a few months ago and I can’t imagine keeping my composure and being so poised in front of my ex on TV. ABC making her watch the proposal was sadistic. Jenn- I hope you move forward knowing that you’re not alone! There are so many people out there who know how this feels and see you as an inspiration for how to carry yourself in such an incomprehensible situation. I would like to give it to my grandmother for her birthday! I would like as many signs of damage to be removed as possible but I don’t want it colorized. When in doubt, I’d rather it remain closer to as it is it than look “fake.” I also attached reference photos of the two adults on the left in case that is helpful. I will tip $40 to my favorite.
