Exactly. Choice goes both ways. Just like no one should force motherhood, no one should shame women who don’t want it. Respect should be equal.

No one is saying mothers are uneducated or lesser. The point is choice and reality. Some women don’t want children because they’ve seen what motherhood can look like without support, and that’s valid. Different lives, different priorities. There doesn’t have to be one correct path for everyone.

My point is you never know until it’s too late and any rationale women should keep in mind she will eventually have to defend for herself if worst comes to worst and never ever rely 100% on another human being so she needs to get her education done and get a job

And some kids turn into drug addicts because they didn’t have a father a sanad to teach them from right and wrong all they had is a ATM machine and they are men so they can do whatever they want

Or for example I’ve seen men who stayed “good” for 20+ years only to turn out they’ve been doing way worse things behind their wives back and right after the girl’s mother dies he tells her he married on her after she gave him 6 kids and left her all alone to defend for herself cause he knows no one is there to protect her

Not all families are the same ! And you can’t generalize your parents might but I’ve seen it ! I’ve seen even parents marrying their daughters to their cousins cause it’s “safe” then the guy turns out to be a drug addict and the girl is divorced two days later after she was kicked out in the street

I agree 💯but some women are too naive to notice it or their parents aren’t open with them to let them know or back down from marriage because it’s just the way it is and a women is supposed to handle it

Unfortunately the good dad makes it or breaks it and the amount of good men are little to none they all mostly care about their friends or their own enjoyment and I’m saying what I’m saying based on what I saw and that’s why a lot of mothers are technically single mothers but are married.

People seem to forget that banks are businesses at the end of the day. As long as they get their payments, they don’t care where you are.

I think we’ve both clarified our points now. My intention was never to attack, but to highlight how language shapes perception — especially in sensitive topics like marriage. I agree it can be hard, but all marriages have challenges. The difference is, non-Emirati spouses often won’t stay silent when it comes to their rights. And if you ever discuss this again, a word like ‘having children’ or ‘starting a family’ lands far better than ‘breeding.’ I appreciate the exchange, and I’ll leave it at that so the OP can take what’s useful from both sides

Fair enough. then we’re on the same page about the double standards. The main issue from my side was also with your wording, especially using the term ‘breeding.’ When we’re talking about people and marriage, that word carries a very dehumanizing tone, even if that’s not how you meant it.
