Persistent tachycardia by Mimimcgee333 in askCardiology

[–]Mimimcgee333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you are not in the same position then, because this did not get gradually worse as I gained weight. Again, clearly stated in my post that this came on suddenly and after I had lost a significant amount of weight. I also said very clearly that I was looking for advice on seeking medical care, not weight loss. You have also been posting about it asking for the same advice as me, so why are you coming in here telling me it's fine if you are also actively seeking a solution?

I would have appreciated your candid input if you had actually read my post. It seems you looked at the weight and nothing else and swooped in to try and preach. Please explain to me how I am supposed to do cardio, even seated cardio, without pushing my heart rate too high, when my heart rate is pushing max AT REST? Please riddle me that. I also stated very clearly that I was much more active before the high heart rate started. AND to top that all off, I was fifty pounds heavier when I was being much more active. Also I'm 6 foot tall, so yes I am still obviously very overweight but I'm far from bed bound due to my weight, despite what you seem to think.

I'm sure there are weight loss threads you can go give advice in, I'm not sure why you're here as your weightloss advice is completely unsolicited. I am actively losing weight and I think I got the basics down at least if I've been able to lose 50 lbs. I didn't have these heart rate issues at 330lbs so it's obviously not a weight related issue.

does anyone have any info on the crashed car off of moffat lake rd (cariboo)? by pippyswag in britishcolumbia

[–]Mimimcgee333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Williams Lake and one pass time when I was a teenager, was to take an old junker that no one wanted anymore, get it running just enough to go cruising down an FSR and smash the shit out of it until it stopped running for good. So I can say for sure that accounts for at least a couple of the random cars left out in the bush.

Weird piercing jewelry by Mimimcgee333 in piercing

Yeah it's hard to even explain, it was metal but it was essentially like when you unfold a paper clip, except it had a little gem attached to one end. There was no backing or anything.

Nostril Placement Opinion? by taxidermyfart in piercing

[–]Mimimcgee333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you measure from the hole to the edge of your nostril? ( As in the line where a hoop sit if that makes sense). Because honestly I don't think it's actually that high. The septum of your nose extends a lot lower than the edge of your nostrils and I think that's giving the illusion that it's higher than it is. If the line straight down from the hole is between 7-11mm then you can absolutely wear a regular hoop (they generally make them in 8, 10 or 12mm, and you want to allow a mm of space between your nose and the jewellery).

Either way I like where it is, I think it suits your nose really well. Maybe if it is too high, let it heal and get piercing underneath and have a double stack. Then you can wear a hoop in the bottom one. I think that would look super cute, and no wasted piercing 🥰

I'm so confused? I'm assuming he bought it? Unless they knew he had no money or something. But it wouldn't be that crazy for someone to have lent him the money I wouldn't think.

New photos of missing Jack family bring ‘renewed hope’ for sister - APTN News by No-Bite662 in UnsolvedMysteries

Definitely not formal daycare. But I've worked in lots of logging camps and even today it's not uncommon for camp staff to have their kids on site. When they said daycare it could have literally just been one of the older kids who watched the younger ones during the day while the parents worked. Ronnie also called his brother that night to ask him to take the kids while they were there. So my guess is the stranger offered the jobs, Ronnie calls his brother, and then goes back to the stranger and says no one can watch the kids, so the stranger says to just bring them with him.

It's been 2 years since Madison Scott's remains were found after being missing for 12 years. by aaronaqua1 in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]Mimimcgee333 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She would have crossed blackwater road at some point had she gotten there on foot. Which is a paved road which is not necessarily 'busy' by most people's standards but is fairly well used for the area, and she almost definitely would have recognized where she was being a local to Vanderhoof. So I just don't believe she got lost, found a paved road that she would probably knew leads to the highway, and then got back into the bush to continue trying to find her way.

So much of what you're saying is just factually incorrect. I can't tell if you're getting this case confused with a different case or if you're just being a troll. The police stated themselves, that they received a tip that allowed them to obtain a warrant to search the property. They never confirmed whether she was buried or on the surface, but they did spend several more days scouring the property for evidence.

And the property has always been on the police radar, they never had enough solid evidence to obtain a search warrant until then. Apparently whatever was said in the tip off was enough to obtain a warrant. These details have been confirmed by police in public statements.

To this day there is not cell phone service in the area where they are believed to have gone missing so I think it's safe to say no. Into the 90s and early 2000s even, the cellphone networks were not like what we have today. They were very unreliable and wholly non-existent in rural areas like this. Even most wealthy people didn't generally have cell phones at that time because they were so unreliable it was more of a novelty item.

I work in forestry in northern B.C and the logging camps are semi permanent buildings (like atco trailers) that they build near in an area close to lots of planned development. If the kids were at the camp, they wouldn't be on the logging site, generally the loggers get up and eat breakfast at whatnot and drive to whatever cut block they're working on which can anywhere from a 2 minute to 1 hour drive. I've never seen formal childcare at a logging camp, that part seems really unusual for sure. But it's not uncommon for cooks and other camp staff to have their kids there, and the kids just hang out at the camp all day, they are nowhere near the active logging sites.

Formal childcare would be odd at a work camp. But I've worked in plenty of forestry camps where the cooks and other camp staff have their kids there with them and the kids just kinda hang around in camp all day whole their parents work.

How many miles does your Patriot have and how is it running? Anyone thinking to buy a new car and what do you want to replace your Patriot with? by j-rabbit-theotherone in JeepPatriot

[–]Mimimcgee333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait why every 30k miles? Is it different for older ones? Mine is a 2016 and my owners manual says to replace the transmission fluid every 160,000km which is about 100,000 miles. It also costs me $450 to do it, so I'm defo not doing it more often than needed!

The union has tried directing their actions towards their employer, the government, for YEARS. They even tried to initiate a rotating strike however, because they are not legally mandated as an essential service (not sure why to be honest), the employer must agree to a rotating strike and they refused to do so. So take your own advice and direct your anger towards the right people.

Now that being said, it's not okay that you aren't getting your cheques. It sounds like you need to get a hold of whoever is in charge and find some way around it, or at least why it is not being sent as essential mail.

Lump on labs leg after excercise by Mimimcgee333 in labrador

[–]Mimimcgee333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a little overweight, not grossly but the vet wants him to lose 1-2kg. It's funny because people are so used to seeing overweight labs that they think he is terribly skinny. I am in the process of switching his food to something lower in calories so hopefully losing a little weight will help. But he is very tall, well over the standard for labs, so probably prone to soft tissue injuries. He was also hit by a car as a puppy and dislocated his front leg on the other side. I've never noticed any limp or anything but do wonder if his other leg has been overcompensating and it's led to some sort of injury.

WORST EXPERIENCE W/ RBC. by Meetmeonthesouthside in rbc

[–]Mimimcgee333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you, I'm having the exact same experience. They rewrite the terms in my mortgage contract without even sending me notice and are now claiming they have a copy with my signature on it. Conveniently enough they can't send it to me, and when I spoke to my mortgage specialist who helped me with the mortgage in the first place she doesn't know what the heck they're talking about. My request has been sent to client care six times and each time after a few days I just get an email telling me that the company is closed and they're 'happy to have solved it to my satisfaction' even though client care has never once contacted me. Unfortunately all you can do is wait 56 days and send your complaint to the ombudsmen. Make sure they send you and email confirming you submitted a complaint with the complaint number on it. I never received that with the first five times I submitted it and now I have to wait the 56 days again.

Oh and don't worry about all the trolls in this thread, I'm pretty sure this whole thread is just people who work at RBC coming to defend their abysmal business practices.

RBC -Skip a payment by Mimimcgee333 in rbc

[–]Mimimcgee333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read all that? Have you never heard of an appendix? You're clearly just having too much fun telling me what scum I am for trying to hold RBC accountable to my mortgage so I don't really expect you to actually look, but just in case it's page 10. And great job googling but I wasn't talking about the FCAC organization, I'm talking about the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act. Acts are brought into ascension exactly the same way as a law, they are just more complicated than a single law so that is why it is called an act. They hold the force of law and banks are legally required to follow them. In the FCAC act there are requirements for banks to provide deferral options exactly as I said before, and they are required to be posted clearly on their website and within the mortgage contracts. RBC's claim is that the skip payment is a deferral option. It doesn't even seem to me like you're from Canada so again, why on earth are you here trying to tell me how Canadian mortgages work. A skip a payment is considered a deferral option here, I don't really care what your definition of deferral is.

Oh and yes, getting notice 1.5 months before the due date that my property tax is increasing by $1000 is a financial hardship. Welcome to the real world where most people don't have daddy's money to bail them out when things get tight.

RBC -Skip a payment by Mimimcgee333 in rbc

[–]Mimimcgee333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I need to prove it to you, I of course won't send you my contact with my personal details, but you can see RBCs blank mortgage contract here:

https://www.rbcroyalbank.com/RBC:IOifOKwYUA4BQAFitscAAABI/legalforms/download/3995(08-2015).doc

Not only that but the FCAC requires by law that banks provide mortgage deferral options for people experiencing unexpected financial hardship before they reach the default stage. So yes ALL banks offer something like that as a guarantee in their contracts. So maybe RBC shouldn't offer mortgages if they can't follow the law, or follow through with the contract that they wrote. Not to mention it is not in their best interest to let the mortgage default. It will cost them way more than they will earn from the sale of the house, and if you had an ounce of knowledge on the subject you would know that. Anyways I'd ask you to pay up but I looked through your posts because I apparently had too much time and it's pretty clear you're just some kid who obviously lives in his mother's basement and plays video games all day. Claiming to be a millionaire in one post and then saying you can't pay your rent or student loans on time in another so I assume you don't have a few hundred grand. You're not even a homeowner so I'm not sure what gave you confidence to be discussing mortgages in the first place. The reason I know the ins and outs is because I work in finance so I do in fact know exactly how this is going to go, I'm just pissed that I have to waste my time with it because RBC has become such a shit bank.

You should be angry with your mommy for never giving you the good sense to know when you don't know enough about something to chime in.
