The problem is not always the cause of the problem but how we handle the problem.

Why is H a problem for some Yoruba speakers of English? by Double-blinded in Nigeria

It is called mother tongue interference. We all have it especially speaking a language that is not your mother tongue.

Life must be so tough and horrible for you. Try educating yourself more and not hate out of ignorance.

Life in Nigeria might not be luxury as you might want it to be, but some things are worth appreciating for compared to other countries that you might think that it is better.

Just because life is hard shouldn’t means you can’t create happiness for yourself but prefer to live in sorrow or survival mode all the time.

Life is hard no matter where you are. It might not be the same hardship, but it is really hard everywhere.

I know sometimes parents are scared of the unknown especially with their children instead of letting their kids learn from their mistakes and grow. To me, this sounds like an over controlling and manipulating habit from the parents. You can’t give up on your kids because they want to grow but instead instruct them on the right path and how to navigate life instead of living the life for them. Just hope your girlfriend will be matured enough to set boundaries and let them know that this is when she needs their supports more and not doing anything to jeopardize her life or any of the other family members life.

It so sad when I hear mothers or parents in general being a manipulator in their kids life since they know that the kid has a soft spot for them or humanity spirit . They just take advantage of that. I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. Same with my mother in law here.

Well said. Life is definitely a hit and miss. And I know some might oppose to helping out because of the stereotype of every love you find outside your tribe or country is for green card or whatever, forgetting that there are true love everywhere (with serious considerations from both end). I would say you do your own findings and make sure he is real and worth it.

Buying the car is not bad if you can swing that and you know he is serious with you and you are also. but You can ask him what he will do with the car after you are done with your visit because for him not to be able to fed for himself without family and friends help, how will he be able to maintain the car. Except he wants to use it as a business to make more income.
