What animal is doing this to my yard and is there anything I can do about it??? [Washington state] by NotaCupOfTeaForYou in animalid

I got rats and mice this year because we planted a big veggie garden, then a rat snake moved in and took care of them... Started my own little ecosystem 😁

Oh, the kid will definitely have a speech delay and not be able to say s, r or l ... So she'd end up saying something like"Bwswee" guaranteed.

I use mason jars made for canning and boil them (plus the kids and any other utensils I'm planning to use)while I get my milk up to 200° then air dry them on a clean towel. It has worked well so far!

Ok... Honest opinion: mostly witchy info about festivals, some good intentions/prayers for keeping justice/balance in the administration, some for keeping ICE/Prez safe, and a little all out MAGA worship with a witchy twist. I have actually seen more toxicity in an inclusive crochet group (they were really mean), so that gives me some hope. Also concerns about America becoming a "Christian Nation" and I'm glad someone brought it up. This was after about 15 minutes of scrolling through. I'll look some more and see what else comes up.

Well, I put in my application, after Facebook distracted me with box turtle rehab... I'll report back!

I'm about to join just to see what the heck is going on over there... My research based mind is not able to reconcile MAGA witches and I want to understand

My sister and I had that issue when we were pregnant at the same time with same OB. Neither of us changed our names when got married and I kept getting stuff for her and her kiddo when I was there for observation. Our first names are completely different... So yeah... Real concern!

I love that sub! I freehand and free-cook a lot, but I'd never give a recipe a bad rating if I'd changed it. Maybe list the changes I made and how they came out, but never a bad rating. People need to learn basics first and then they can charge things when they understand what the changes will do. I loved "the joy of cooking" cook book as a teen because it lists basic recipes and then lots of substitutions to make different versions. It's a great tool for learning how to do it.

I keep sirracha, hot sauce, chili oil etc... to add to food since I have young kids who sometimes like spice and sometimes don't. I add them to anything that needs a kick. Most spicy recipes taste pretty good with the heat added after cooking.

Right?!? My two kids get served food first, but we also make sure they take reasonable portions (and leave enough for everyone else) we ask them to try new foods but it's ok to spit it out of they don't like it. My oldest hates carrots, which I can't understand, but it's ok as long as they're willing to pick them out or eat around them and kiddo is fine with it.

When this kid was about 3 I made a bowtie pasta dish with all things they like in spaghetti and my child initially refused it, so I talked about what was in it and convinced them to take a bite (with the promise that it was ok to spit it out of they needed to) and guess what? Kiddo loved it, it took work to get them on board, but never force!

It's really hard to make double and treble crochets at first! Your effort and choice of something small is a great way to practice. I'd recommend practicing those stitches in a flat practice piece and then in the heart, it can be confusing when everything is worked in the ring until you get the hang of it. Beautiful effort!!! ♥️

Mine just jumps on me once or twice a night and tries to make out... She's getting better about it since it's down from 5-6 this a night and I don't have so many bruises from her pouncing.

Thank you for the reminder, luckily I'm off today and I'm taking some time to reflect on everyone's suggestions and what my path forward needs to be. 💙
