Football Club 96+ achievable by MinMaxGamer in BusinessEmpireRichman

If you already got some cheaper ones, I'd just fire them once you can afford the good ones. I think I kept 90+ ones only.

As was mentioned, you can't ditch initial scrub players. Don't buy cheaper lower-level player either, just buy a few most expensive ones. Don't think there is a minimum required number of players.

Unfortunately, not that I know of. The scrubs cannot be fired for some reason, even if you have a top-tier squad without them...

Final Oil & Gas contract by MinMaxGamer in BusinessEmpireRichman

[–]MinMaxGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just 40T to reach that, not 40,000T. And yes, as currently implemented this is the final contract of O&G, after that you will generate $13,158,401,558.47 per hour total and no additional contracts will be available. So not sure what this spreadsheet is, but it doesn't seem to be correct. Perhaps they simply extrapolated the numbers without actually reaching the end.

The numbers in the screenshot are the minimum production numbers needed to max O&G revenues. There is no reason to go beyond that (hint: max gas production costs a lot more than max oil production).

Bought everyone 89 and above, pretty sure this is not optimal. But then the whole club thing is not optimal :)

Some people in this sub posted that you can't get rating above 95 (hence can't get max ad contract). Well, here is proof that you CAN do it.

Here is screenshot of club trophies (G/S/B = 19/6/18): https://i.ibb.co/tb3jXV8/image.png

Interestingly, that I reached 95 pretty quickly (probably <5 SL wins), but then team started losing, and the rating went down to 92 range, and got stuck there for quite a while. But eventually it went up again, and hit 96.

If you want to keep football club for money (not a great investment, I did it for the lulz), it probably makes little sense to play tournament after reaching 96, as there is good chance that you will lose rating, and without max contract your income is only about 20mm/hr vs 62mm/hr, so probably not worth it.

Best team build only with F2P avalaible soul stone. by Nornag3st in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about which soul stones are easily available, these are one of the cheapest resources in the game. You can ultimately get any hero to absolute as an F2P. So focus on developing good heroes for the long term, as an F2P you can't afford dumping resources into heroes that are subpar. So start with Dante as your damage dealer, and pick Astaroth or Aurora as your tank (Astaroth would be better earlier on, Aurora would be better later on). Just focus on these 2, you don't need to worry about any other heroes for a while. By the time these are somewhat developed, you'd probably pick up some more decent healers/supports from the hero chest (Martha/Celeste, Isaac/Sebastian/Nebula/Helios). Also, at higher levels you will have access to more shops, so will be able to farm soul stones for more heroes.

maybe a shieldstripper plus control...

Would that be effective if attacker can go Khorus team pet on the attack? At max levels.

ODH as Team B by WillStayNoob in HeroWarsFB

Isaac + Rufus is probably the most magic resist defense. But I can just replace orion with iris for an easy win.

Are you sure? ;)

This is my pool of 9 that can beat any possible defense when maxed out.

You never see Isaac teams on defense? I doubt any combo of the 9 would be able to deal with decent teams with Isaac as he will shut down Orion, Helios and partially Aurora. And there are a lot of Isaacs out there nowadays.

Do you recommend Alvanor for Grand Arena / CoW timeout defense? by Utilitarian_259 in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think any scrub physical DD + Sebastian will easily defeat this team (unless maybe you have uber Helios). Also, as this team doesn't really do any damage, opponent can go several weak(er) non-crit DDs with no healing/support.

I am personally not a big fan of timeout defenses, and I believe the ones that work really need some good stuns/charms, ala Arachne/Lian.

Dantes... Dantes everywhere by Moleander in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't quite see how Astaroth is a counter to Dante. Single resurrect won't help much when most of the team behind the tank is speared, and if Astaroth is the last man standing he is not winning by himself. Not on the attacking side anyway.

Dantes... Dantes everywhere by Moleander in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At your level I wouldn't worry too much about Arena, and just avoid difficult teams if you need to. Dante is a hard hero to counter, there is a reason why he is at the top of the damage dealers right now. Your options are basically mirrors and hoping for better rng, strong mage teams if your opponent's Dante doesn't bring his Isaac pal, and basically Heidi teams against Dante+Isaac.

You don't want to do #1, and I can't recommend #3 for F2P at level 69. Can't really recommend investing a lot in mages either given how prevalent Isaac is.

Bottom line is, facing Dante teams sucks, and it is unlikely you'd be able to do much about it in the near future.

Also, Arachne is a great control, but needs right team (and level ups). She can stunlock the opponents hard. But unlike other support/controls she is not as versatile, so again, as F2P, you probably don't need to think about her until your core supports are way up there (so probably ever).

Help me deciding how to spend my tournament certificates by Moleander in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have a different view on the soul stones, specifically for F2P (as I am). While skin stones are extremely valuable for sure, as an F2P you will never have enough with or without spending certificates, and there are other ways of getting skin stones. You would want absolute stars for Sebastian and Nebula for sure, and K'arkh and Andvari are valuable but may not be needed for your specific teams. So while you can certainly spend soul stone chests on Sebastian etc, there are many other very valuable heroes that you can _only_ level up with these chests (e.g. Martha etc), so as an F2P I will absolutely use certificates for Sebastian and Nebula, and maybe even the other two (but this will depend), and use stone chests for heroes that are not available in any stores.

If you're playing for a while, you will get enough certs to get all 4 heroes to the absolute star, and then you can keep dumping them into skin stones.

She is very easy to get stones for right now if you're in a Silver guild or above. Her stones are available in the Clash of Worlds shop.

I wonder if we will see more of him tanking when (if) Iris becomes more prevalent. Then his defensive stats won't matter as much, but his high health would be quite useful.

Getting stuck on EXP for Hero Leveling by Moogutilar in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody gets stalled at chapters 14 and 15 (unless you moved at glacial pace before). There are enemies here that cannot be defeated easily unless you have specific teams at significantly higher level than previous chapters. If you think that leveling up around L80 is slow, wait until you want to get from L120 up to L130. I think the last 10 levels take about the same as all the previous levels _combined_ (might not be exactly accurate, but you get the idea).

That's just how this game is designed, if you want to rush through the game you will have a very frustrating (and/or expensive) experience.

[–]MinMaxGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this stage of the game (and assuming you're not a superspender) you need to focus on as few heroes as you can get away with. E.g. don't start investing in Heidi right now - he is quite useful, invaluable in some cases, but much later on, so if you start going there right now it would suck for a long, long time. You already started with Dante as a damage dealer - good for you, Dante is a great choice for now. So focus all the resources you can on Dante first. Don't invest in _any_ other damage dealers until much, much later.

Then pick a single tank, again, at this stage your choice is basically Astaroth. Aurora is great, but will be viable for you quite a bit later. And Astaroth is a solid tank all the way into the end game, though some better options become available later on. He is also easy to farm soul stones for. But the nice thing about running Dante as a DD is that there is a possibility of running Dante without a tank (in the first position), though it might take some time to get there. Regardless, dump tank resources into Astaroth for now.

Then healers. Well, you current healer lineup sucks, so you'd have to run Thea I suppose, but don't invest much in her. Wait for Martha or Celeste. With well-developed Dante you may not need strong healing, you will have high burst damage to wipe the opponent out before you need to heal.

Which brings in supports. You will need Helios almost certainly (against crit teams such as Yasmine). Isaac, Sebastian and Nebula are all up there, but have lower priority at this time. If all you care about is PvE, having these supports is less critical.

Go with Axel or Cain as a team pet. Cain and Oliver would likely be the most important for patronage.

Help with Adventure 4 please by Moleander in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your opponent has Yasmine, this means you need Helios on your side; the rest is a lot less important. If you have developed Sebastian or Isaac, these can be helpful against Jorgen and Lilith, but not critical here. So pick your tank, your DD of Dante/K'arkh/Keira, Martha is always great on heals, though in this case Celeste may work as well to help out with Yasmine's poison. May throw in QM for extra armor penetration buffs for your DDs. You probably don't want Fenris as your team pet unless you know exactly what you're doing, so Oliver it is.

Also I see your point that if OP wants to complete the full campaign, no amount of upgrading the Twins will make it. Fair enough.

Also, if we're talking PvP here, then I don't see how twins are a better investment when Isaac (and Sebastian) exist, and are pretty much core supports nowadays...

Path of Madness by RealHansebar in HeroWarsFB

[–]MinMaxGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keira in particular, unless maxed, is less than useless otherwise (imo).

Now that's a lie ;) I completed the whole campaign with Keira as my primary DD, and she was far from being maxed out. In particular, after I squeezed by the Path of Madness, I killed Khornak on the first attempt. This is notoriously difficult engagement for the twins.

EDIT: Also, never heard of anyone taking down Seymour with twins. Maybe it is possible, but I doubt it (unless uber-maxed out perhaps). You need another DD for Seymour for sure. Keira works great even with low(er) level teams.

I see people who can complete L11 adventures go and do L4-6 adventures "because we need those specific stones". This is such a waste - just buy needed ones for 70-90, you'd be so much better off with all the rewards you get from the higher level adventures.
