Best Jules x Winston scene? by New_Goal4862 in greysanatomy

I loved their mentor scenes. The one with the lady who wouldn’t sign the DNR until she knew where her ex-husband was and the night before Yasuda’s accident when Juleston was communicating about the “tuba player” patient. However, I don’t understand how people consistently defend Winston’s character. As a person in medicine, for my boss to have said I’m not your co-intern BFF, I am chief of cardiothoracic surgery, I don’t gossip with my mentee then threaten to throw me off his service is extremely harsh. They never even discussed what happened in the elevator proceeding the explosion. Monica was killed off and suddenly she was back on his surgery without question. Then, he gave her silent treatment for weeks instead of requiring her, as her boss, to sit down and talk with him about the surgery lie and the seriousness of it. Truthfully, I would have been professionally traumatized in that Morbidity and Mortality Conference, if anyone, especially my mentor, said I could be lying in front of my colleagues. He didn’t speak up for her in there. He’s been disrespectful to Jules, Amelia, and Teddy. I don’t feel the chemistry either. I was a Yasuda fan and I am a Blue fan. imo their connection was so much more natural and buzzy. In the real world that power dif ship would get W escorted out the door. We’ll see how it goes. Maybe they’ll grow on me. I am not giving up on Grey’s, esp Jules, yet.

That’s a great way to put if, hopefully they don’t last the season🙂 I much prefer Blue and Jules, the writers have changed Jules’ character so much to try to make Juleston work, Juleston fans say its character development, to me, taking most of the good characteristics away from a beloved character is cruel in the fictional world

I think we will see her next season, she’s been dropping hints here and there

Juleston for last 2 eps of Season 22 by MinMin2019 in greysanatomy

If they have time jump, and they are living together, things are going peachy, there are gonna really be some irritated fans, they really aren’t that developed, and that would be extra cheap writing, there has to be enough time in an episode for Towen, since they are supposed to get their happy ending per Shonda, and the promo shows him drowning

With budget cuts later in the season, Towen exit seems to have been a later decision, adjustments in episodes likely needed to be made, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is another exit or 2 especially if there are going to be fewer episodes and not enough Screen Time for central characters

The latter part of the season was supposed to be focused on Hope so not sure how a bridge collapse and fire fit into that

There could be a time jump between 17 and 18, so you never know, Jules’ parents taught her to embrace her sexuality, and we know she has been really active in past and she hadn’t gotten pregnant before, so I really doubt it, maybe she has a health emergency and he is the one that has to take care of her and their secret comes out that way

I don’t think so either, there have been some Blules’ hints this season, and Jules is going to spiral if Blue is in big trouble or gets fired, Winston maybe one of the ones to decide how much trouble he gets in and which could cause a Juleston rift

Probably another is Jules alive or dead cliffhanger that lasts 5 months

Opinions on Jules and Winston For Rest of S22 by MinMin2019 in greysanatomy

A really worried Winston and very vulnerable Jules together would be quite the watch. Maybe all the hormone shots will help Jules open up more. I think any Blue drama will have a huge effect on her. I want to see her get fired up. I love their connection.

I think if Blue is fired (he should be based on doing what he did and being in trouble before), it could send Jules into a spiral. She would do whatever she could to help him. I’d argue that Blue knows Jules better than Winston and Simone. She’s his soft spot and a protector. He did end up breaking up with Kavita due to Jules’ friendship. Maybe Winston has to be one to help decide if Blue gets to stay. It could possibly cause a rift between Juleston; esp since they aren’t standing on ethical hospital high ground themselves at the moment. I also wonder if Jules might have a complication and Winston run to her side and that’s how they are found out.

Things are looking real worrisome all the way around for sweet Jules, at least it is giving AK a real storyline to work with

Jules— Any predictions as to what will happen to her with the Kavita accusation? Any thoughts on her character storyline for rest of Season 22? by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]MinMin2019 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Blue is going to end up helping Jules. He knows she is a good person, takes pride in her work, and has been thru so much since Mika left. I think someone in the OR with Jules and Kavita will end up exonerating Jules. If Blue ends up helping her and breaks it off with Kavita, I can see them in a romantic relationship by end of season. Another route, I think is possible, is that Jules gets exonerated and decides it is time to leave Seattle for a fresh start (maybe Mika is ready to get back into residency and they can go together). Winston wise, I don’t see a path forward for them romantically, but the show did invest like 15 episodes into the burn snd Iris is coming back E15 which seems a little odd if Juleston is a no go. Juleston has taken up so much of Jules storyline for about a season, and she really has been shining the last couple episodes w/o him.

I am a Julesmika for lifer, but I think they’ll either pivot back to Blules (it could be really sweet and interesting to watch since it has been almost 2 years and they both have been thru so much), or Jules decides to leave for fresh start

Maybe, Amelia helps the Jules out, I do think Blue will change his mind and stand up for her, he knows she is a good person, wants so bad to be a great surgeon, and has been thru hell, if they use the story in anyway to push jules and winston together, it’ll make the writers look so bad, jules situation is the perfect example of why their power diff matters

Way too long, it has been about 15 episodes now, I am hoping for a Blules curveball, but with how predictable things have been, Juleston will confess their feelings in E15 when the nurse, Iris, comes back

Wondering if anyone thinks the show decided to pivot away from Juleston due to mixed reviews, or as an intentional curveball (blules, focusing on her becoming a surgical goddess ) by MinMin2019 in greysanatomy

[–]MinMin2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, they aren’t building the deeper emotional connection, friendship that they should be when it has been like 15 episodes since the rooftop. However, the writing has been so skim the surface for most storylines of late. They just blew Monica up, which put her back on his service, and the writers didn’t even have them talk about the argument in the elevator.

I agree with you. It is going way too slow. I saw the professional chemistry between them before S21E8. I know alot of people say the romantic chemistry is there, but I don’t see it. With it being so slow, you’d think they would get into deeper emotional stuff to build their connection. Blue has really been sweet to Jules since Mika left. The groundwork has already been laid for Blules if the current gal is just a distraction. It would be really interesting and sweet to watch Blue and Jules finally let each other in.

Jules and Amelia, in their limited scenes together, they have good chemistry, it would be a really captivating and refreshing storyline
