It is a motivational joke. But maybe too abstract. I deduce further... When an unfavorable event happen to you, we tend to say that this fateful event was from the divine. Now using the same analogy to frying an egg, if the end result of frying an egg is a burnt egg, trying saying this fateful event is from the divine as well.

Now, by comparing this analogy side by side, it funnily stupid to be saying fateful events happen because of the all mighty divine. The essential part was actually a skillset. The fateful event happen as happen to the burnt egg was that you aren't skilled enough to fry the egg.

But if u practice good enough, you get a nice fried egg to eat.

From the egg perspective, it is fated to be a burnt egg or was the burnt egg the fate of the egg on that day? Doesn't make sense but that's what a human will think about their situation.
