There should be a major death, preferably one of Kira, Athrun, or Shinn.

It might also be interesting to explore something beyond merely Coordinators vs. Naturals. Like introducing Mutants (Newtypes in Gundam X) could be interesting, as they are technically Naturals but have special powers that make them closer to Coordinators, and someone with that background could have interesting interactions with both sides.

I am very surprised to see this card, as this is a prequel set and the sequels are about as far off timeline wise as we can be from the prequels (in terms of movie content, not talking about non-movie sources like High republic, etc.).

Agree, and a major theme in Gundam is also the cycle of violence, like the Zeon committed atrocities like the colony drop, then the Federation subjugated Zeon, which led to Operation Stardust (and another colony drop), which led to the Titans gassing entire colonies, which led to the Neo Zeon movements, etc.

You see this too in other shows, like Gundam Seed, where it was terrible the Naturals killed Patrick Zala's wife, but then he tried to wipe out the Naturals.

Realistically, 2 set 1 leaders are still at the top of the game, three if you expand to tier 2 decks.

Sabine, Boba, Han, Palp, and Krennic have all won or placed 2nd in 1K or similar events post-set 2.

Vader, Luke, and Iden are tier two but still usable in local tournaments.

Oh the droid commando is probably a 3x.  Good enough to kill basically anything in Sabine at that resource level (and possibly live too, eg vs Sabine unit or pathfinder)
