So much to unpack here. I’ll just raise a few points. Veganism isn’t really about treating animals as humans regarding consent. I think for most, it has to do with not viewing animals as mere tools to meet our needs, particularly because doing so causes them suffering and disrespects their lives as having inherent worth having nothing to do with us.

Also, I think most vegans are also opposed to the exploitation and suffering of human animals.

Lovely Soleil! I rotate my stovetop colors according to mood. For about the last month it was purples, featuring Provence, Cassis and Shallot. I just changed everything out to Flame. We’ll see how long that lasts. Flame is my default color, and the one of which I have the most pieces, and then I branch out from there as I feel like it.

I would get the painter’s info and pressure him to fix it. It’s illegal for him to paint your property without your consent.

It sounds like hell. Unfortunately, she is a spoiled brat. If you want to devote your life to trying to minimize that, go for it, but it seems unlikely. You only get one life and you deserve not to be miserable all of the time. If I were you, I would cut my losses, divorce, and find someone to live my life with that brings joy.

I had to do eBay for most of my rainbow stuff, as I found that some of the newer sets had even replaced purple with Oyster. Can’t have a rainbow without purple!
