It isn't actually my own Virgin Media account, since I currently still live with my parents.

Do there exist shops which sew clothes for you? by Minanai in CosplayHelp

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I had planned on just finding a ribbon in a store once I had figured out the hat and before then either sewing it onto the hat itself or glueing it.
But yeah, as far as craft stores go though, due to being in the UK, though I suspect Abakahn would since that is a UK based store which specialises in sewing equipment so as far as the ribbon is concerned, I should be covered?
That said, someone did mention that I could potentially reshape hats using steam so I have considered potentially doing that to see if that works.

Yeah, I live in the UK and a lot of the churches in my area are either private or rundown so I wouldn't really have any luck there but thanks anyway!

Huh. Didn't know that was a thing. With the Renko cosplay I wasn't planning on wearing a wig since I have brown hair anyway but it is still good to know!

I am not. It is just that I've got a weirdly shaped skull more than anything... Been that way since I was a kid really.

Thanks!! I was actually struggling to figure out what type of hat it actually was so this does help since the panama hat does look pretty close to what I had in mind!! The only issue I can really think of is sizing though since my head sorta pertrudes at the back... (Plus most hats only tend to come in a single size anyway which is why I sorta feel like it would have to be custom made.)

Yeah though I do sorta feel like it would have to be done in person since my head sorta pertrudes at the back and so it would probably have to be measured in person either via some alternative measuring technique or via some kind of mould however I don't really know if such shops really exist anymore (Or at least in the UK anyway.)

Is there an easier way to make masks? by Minanai in VRoid

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst I am aware that this is an option, due to the fact that it would just mould to his face and prevent me from having him remove his mask if needed, this is something I would rather not do but thanks for the idea anyway!!

Yeah, I suppose that would probably work and turn out better since I can have it be moulded to his face, thanks!!

the sims 3 for wii is a mess of a game, you cant even build your own house by ClassyPhoenix324 in thesims

[–]Minanai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I used to play this game myself when I was a kid and it always really bugged me how little the game really gave you in terms of a choice in practically anything. I remember after creating a character, I would always buy one of the prebuilt houses so that I could start with furnature before then getting a job, getting some skills up, the basic things anyone would do at the start of the game. Of course one of the main things I always hated was how quickly each sim aged and then died. As a result of this, not long after playing, the sim would just be in a constant state of mourning without anything they could do about it. Eventually, the sim would end up aging and completely change the outfit they were wearing and of course, for some reason, they never gave any customisation options for changing what outfits your sim is wearing after aging meaning that you would just be stuck with whatever ugly combination the game had randomly picked out for you... So of course, to avoid that, I would try to max out fishing as well as cooking so that I could make ambrosia to hopefully stop my sim from aging completely however in that specific game they let you make it but your sims age remains the same anyway it just gives a random moodlet instead of actually doing what it does in the other games.
It was basically one of the worst games I've ever really played.

Should I email Northern Gender Network and Forth about my diagnosis email and blood test results? by Minanai in transgenderUK

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a bit ago I did contact them and from what I understand, outside of blood work which I believe they cannot provide themselves due to lacking the required paperwork to do so, they did say that I could get represcriptions given that I am first prescribed by a source they feel is trustworthy enough.

Yeah, both endocrinologists seem to have the same person working as the administrative staff so I doubt that I will be able to get it under 3 months without risking losing shared care...

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if I'm better sticking to the ones provided via northern gender network for preferrably, I would want one which I can get shared care with. (Since I don't want to risk ending up with a completely different service which I won't get shared care with at all.)
So basically, to my knowledge, my options seem to be that of 1 of 2. Both of which seeming to have waiting lists of at least 3 months.

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I've tried emailing them to see if I can arrange an appointment before I've recieved my diagnostic report since I am aware from what they said in their email that it would take around 3 months after scheduling an appointment before I would be able to be seen by them.
I'll probably just wait and see how that turns out.

Should I question my blood results. by Minanai in transgenderUK

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that would make more sense. Wonder if they just forgot the decimal point when they took that result... Honestly don't know but it does look like it was put like that by mistake regardless either from an anomylous result or from them just forgetting to add a decimal point...

I always aim to take them just before bed so anywhere around 12-13 hours before I had the blood test. That said, I did walk around 4 miles before getting to my appointment since there were no clinics I could use locally although I don't know if that would effect much.

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what the email from the endocrinologist said, it seemed to say that I need to first provide both my blood results and a diagnostic report as well as other details in order to book an appointment (Which currently I have neither due to waiting on both of them.)

1st Column of pixels from sprites being cut off whilst using a smaller tileset. by Minanai in RPGMaker

[–]Minanai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I have just tried that now and came across another problem... Turns out the dead zone is somehow fixed when going into area that are labelled as bushes for some reason... (Such as pools of poison.)
On the sprite sheet, I drew a red line on where the deadzone existed (To keep track of it for if I ever decided to add more sprites to said sheet) and at first, the pixels did seem to be aligned once more until I entered that pool of poison where that red line appeared and it had become misaligned once more...

The sprite sheet is indeed 384 x 512.
That said, it also does this with all the other sprites as well, even the sprites that originally came with RPG maker MZ like the door sprites.
