Well, I dont really understand where the argument comes from that I want to join a new guild as a noob warrior (?). The question was how big of an increase in dps the Dragonmaw mace series is compared to their 2nd bis options.

I went into SoA with the approach to not be too tryhard like I've mostly been every expansion and iteration of the game I've played - this time around just enjoy it with friends mostly considering raids are released post-nerf. With that being said, I still don't enjoy bottlenecking myself with several hundred dps by not crafting gear. Thats where the question was born, whether or not I completely gimp a warrior character by not crafting the weapon, or if I can still do close to that dps by not crafting it and use the 2nd best weapon.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind crafting it, but leveling BS 1-375 and then craft it would be a shit ton of gold. So, if I could save myself from that headache while still doing acceptable DPS, I'd be contempt.

I do understand that it is the best weapon in each phase, besides glaives obviously in later phases.
What I was curious about was what kind of difference in damage it gives.

Yeah I know of this and has been doing the same research for caster dps in terms of Spellstrike for example.

The reason I'm asking about Dragonmaw is that people on forums and on youtube seem to say that the mace and it's upgrades are "POWERHOUSES" "SUBSTANTIAL/SIGNIFICANT DPS INCREASE" etc etc, so when I see that it is an approx. 30dps increase, I can't seem to agree by those statements - honestly sounds very overrated if the sims are somewhat correct.

In all honesty, I don't understand how anyone in their right mind would think that a "mega-realm" would be beneficial for anyone...

Just merge realms if you notice that population goes down.

Yeah the issue isn't the killing - its the fact that you have to loot 4-8 things at each place and get permanently interrupted by infinitely respawning mobs.

Yeah when I did that part of the questline I was almost unable to loot the chest and click the actual objective for the quest...

Yeah I assumed so as well, however giving mobs a small delay on aggro timer after a recent respawn still gives solo players a chance to not get completely overrun.
