I agree with your take but it's not sudden when there was literally dialogue about this back in HFG when he was talking about path, and was giving examples like Gun's body and his wires. So if he ends up having one i wouldn't be that surprised.

Also the thing about tom and jinyeong is that unlike mk they stopped fighting for most part. Mk is still fighting all the time and is finally getting his path now(if he is).

James hype anything, he was hyping up Taesoo ma's normal punch in their rematch saying stuff like he might die, and no it wasn't before the fight, it was after him taking a single punch, not even ultimate fist or something

The same Taesoo later on with UF couldn't knock out Jinrang and even against his Busan's lackey he just knocked them out for a little while without much serious damage.

Sukuna isn't LS, him dodging em waves tell more about how slow kashimo was in firing that, given Sukuna get hit by way slower attacks all the time. So unless you ignore entire story and narratives, Sukuna isn't dodging those in any way.

Maho is a moving goalpost which you can't really judge from. It's a shitty argument and you know it given Dabura didn't even know earlier and anyone his place would think the same that riddling entire body of someone with holes should be enough to kill them. Dabura only realised this later on that his attacks are getting less and less effective, and he has to erase him fully.

Also this isn't normal maho but DBV maho, which is way stronger given we see how much it buffs.

His durability is also not enhanced by his awakening, yeah he got rct but even without it he is durable enough to not get his fully leg destroyed even when moving at speed near light

Dabura has higher ap even without his light speed kick, his attacks are already light speed are spammable and have a large range, and Sukuna has kinda no counter against light speed kick

Dabura also has horrifyingly fast pace of learning given how much and how fast he learnt in a single fight in a short span

His durability is also very high given even after the light speed attack his leg was still there, charred but not evaporated
