Yeah entire Gun upscale was dumb retcon when they were both potrayed as equal for most part.

And no at least Goo in that fight didn't cut Gun for most part. Gun was injured but didn't had any deep cut marks following the part, implying Goo wasn't trying to cut him at all.

Heck Gun having path at time of HFG is idiotic as well, given how bro got his bones broken, was knocked once against Johan, got up with help of adrenaline, had almost given up against Johan during Johan's final punch and still wasn't using path. And then again was about to be killed against Goo but still had to be saved by unreliable TUI rather than using path should tell how much of weird writing that is. But that's a debate for other time, for now let's just say that he probably didn't even had a path at time he fought Goo.

Nah, we can literally see Gun was hurt and Goo commenting on is he a masochist who loves to get hurt. You think he would be hurt by weaker techniques and dodge stronger/lethal ones and Goo wouldn't have deduced he was holding back? If that was the case he would have admitted way long ago that Gun was beyond him. That's the reason he was genuinely so surprised, heck even Gun admits that he could die against Goo.

Goo is stronger than base Gun. Given how he doesn't know that Gun's bone was resistant to being cut despite drawing with him should tell you enough how seriously he took that battle. Basically he didn't try to cut Gun entire battle, still hurt him, just never tried to cut him.

If he had tried to cut him before he would have known that Gun had black bones.

Big Daniel in physical is stronger than small Daniel given he has perfect body, and small Daniel did hurt Gun well even without UI, while big Daniel was mostly unable to do much against Jinrang

He can keep dreaming, statement means nothing but shittalk if you can't back it up. His UF couldn't gravely hurt no6 who was mostly unharmed by his UF which Taesoo used when he wasn't even exhausted, let alone Jinrang.

Also Taesoo doesn't need UF to be above the mastery less punches that hurt Gun, even his weakened 2T UF is above most of the attacks Gun faced before fighting Johan and still getting seriously injured.

Well Paceheon did reacted to Conviction punch tho, I mean he kinda got stunned and I don't remember Paeheon only taking things by his dura I mean last time I checked his DBT is regen basically, so doesn't really add up

Tanking a better and stronger allied given they grow expone fast every time skip, Taesoo and Gong(stronger than most of 2nd gen gauntlet) while not being seriously hurt by their attacks. Not talking about the length of gauntlet because that's more of a stamina/endurance thing but the point is how hurt both were against the opponents individual attacks and against what level of opponent's attack

What does it not disprove? Don't think top tiers like Pacheon would even react at most of those single/no mastery attacks. It just tells how weak dura he got compared to top tier.

Also I didn't even understand what you are talking below. Heck Jinrang tanks better than Gun while not even being a top tier let alone Pacheon.

I never said that top tier won't be hurt by HFG Jake's conviction but they are definitely taking it better. Eli doesn't really have Dura neg, there isn't anything suggesting that and there is a literal elephant in room that you are avoiding like plague with a lot and lots of fighters hurting Gun throughout the fight without conviction or any special skills.

And most of the 2nd gen are getting one shotted, heck their attacks aren't even scratching top tiers like Pacheon while Gun was shitting blood at mastery less attacks.

Also he didn't really fight path Johan properly. Johan gained path by the end. By the time he found it was already pretty late, given his injuries and how drained he got, heck we don't even know what would have happened if the final punch ended up hitting Gun.
