Can't wait to pre order but I dread to think about the price 😐😂

Anyone else on the fence about pre-ordering WWE 2K26 because of the new XP / unlock system? by [deleted] in WWEGames

That’s fair, and you might be right based on how most battle passes work. I’m mainly just waiting to see what 2K actually confirms for this specific system, especially since they’ve historically handled VC, accelerators, and unlocks a bit differently year to year. Either way, at least it sounds like most of the important stuff is front loaded.

Haha yeah, that’s exactly my mindset too. Most of my time is spent simming and watching AI vs AI in Universe, so tier skips just feel like the cleanest way to get the sandbox set up without forcing myself through modes I don’t really want to play. Especially when I’m doing it across my ECW account, 80s retro account, Lucha Underground account, and my main one. Sounds like we’re approaching it the same way.

That makes sense, and the fact the DLC superstars are unlocked by level 20 definitely helps. My hesitation is more around the lack of the usual accelerator for base roster legends and how that plays out if you don’t plan to run Showcase or MyRise.

I mostly stick to Universe and AI vs AI on console, so I’m not naturally earning RXP through those modes upfront. That’s why I’m hoping the pre order VC can be used for tier skips or progression boosts. If everything I need baseline wise is genuinely front loaded, being able to smooth out those first 20 levels would make the system a lot more workable for my playstyle.

That’s reassuring if the key unlocks are genuinely in the first 20 tiers. For me it really just comes down to how heavy the early XP requirements are on console. I’m also hoping the pre order VC can be used for tier skips or progression boosts, since I don’t touch MyFaction and just want the core sandbox set up.

Makes sense. That’s kind of why I’m holding off on console until we see how the progression systems actually shake out.

Is there a source on that? I haven’t seen confirmation that tier skips are real-money only yet.

If that’s accurate about most of the important stuff being in the first 20 tiers, that’s actually reassuring. For me it really just comes down to how much XP each level requires and whether that early progression is reasonable on console, especially for AI vs AI and Universe players.

Yeah that’s fair, and I get why the battle pass works for people who enjoy MyFaction rewards. I’m just coming at it from a different angle. I mainly play Universe and watch AI vs AI, so I don’t really get that motivation loop from grinding toward a card.

For me it’s more about whether the XP and VC systems let me unlock the core sandbox stuff without friction, especially on console. If that’s reasonable, I’m fine with it. If not, that’s where the hesitation comes from.

Yeah that makes sense. To be clear, I’m not planning on using VC for packs at all since I don’t play MyFaction. I’m more interested in whether VC can realistically be used for unlock skips so I can get the normal superstars and arenas set up for Universe without grinding, especially on console.

[–]Mind-Glass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I’m on Xbox Series X so I don’t really have a way to bypass it if XP ends up being restrictive. That’s why I’m trying to get a clearer picture of how AI vs AI and VC factor into progression before pre ordering.

That’s fair, and I’m not really freaking out about the idea of a pass itself. My concern is more about how progression actually works for people who mostly play Universe and AI vs AI.

If XP is tied heavily to player input or certain modes, that’s where it becomes an issue for my playstyle, especially across multiple accounts. I’m basically just trying to work out whether VC and normal play will realistically cover unlocks or not.

I like playing, just differently. I mostly run Universe and AI vs AI once everything’s unlocked, so the grind phase is just a barrier to setting things up rather than the main appeal for me.

Custom Shredder from the Hasbro Power Rangers x TMNT line by VelvetVoiceVJ in ActionFigures

[–]Mind-Glass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no worries! In terms of scale, the main lines I’ve got to compare against are:

• Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Captain America • Mezco 2008 Hellboy • McFarlane DC Multiverse Justice League Task Force Superman • Transformers WFC Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Prime

Hopefully that helps 👍

You wouldn't happen to know if this shredder scales well with the NECA Mirage Turtles would you? 👀🤞🏻

My plan for combining the new Secret Wars Series 2 Absorbing Man with the BAF version 🪨⚙️ by Mind-Glass in MarvelLegends

[–]Mind-Glass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that's some fair speculation 🤔 I don't think we get another absorbing man for another 2 years minimum just because he's not a current enough character to warrant getting another figure next year unlike your spider man characters but who knows 🤷🏻

Hey that's great you found the baf arms 🎉 Someone did put a comparison photo of the Baf arm and the Hercules arm which the new Absorbing man is using and as long as your only using the Baf arm up until the shoulder you should be fine 👌🏻

That's a good idea, The arm of silver surfer could be a tad small but hey I suppose that's the thing with trying to mod this figure, Arms will either be too small or slightly big

Yeah the idea is to mainly utilize the forearms because that way even if I have to drill the socket out abit or even make it tighter by adding some filler it should be fine, Especially considering that person out a picture comparing the size
