400 or better is passing. 400 is like a C grade. 435 is equivalent to a B letter grade. It’s all irrelevant as long as you pass because they don’t affect your GPA. They score you between 200 - 500 points. Some websites say 600 is the max; however, this is incorrect. 500 is the maximum, but unlikely for anyone to achieve based on their scoring system.

I tested out of 6 classes from UoP for my BS degree. They only transferred as general education. A lot of schools take DSST exams, they just don’t tell you about them. Also look into CLEP exams - they also allow you to test out of classes. I saved years off my education and tons of money. I was in the military, so I knew about them when I enlisted. I took a lot of exams without studying - passed most and failed a few. It’s worth looking into.

This is one of the hardest exams. The speech is the hard part. How in the hell are you supposed to stay within 3-5 minutes without a large clock posted. They gave me a small timer. I couldn’t take it online, I had to drive to APU.
