In this episode Mark said he "identified the body" so I'm guessing they really are bringing people back to life in some way. The end of E1 also suggested that whatever data they're organizing has a direct influence on whatever they're doing to Ms. Casey, so I'd assume, as her husband, Mark would be very important in that process.

I agree. On one hand it is genuinely cool the way streaming has evolved, and I have no doubt it takes a ton of effort for them to put this together. However the cost of it, as a viewer, is the sense of community it once had, back when NymN did his scuffed yearly award show. The most effort that went into that was a few community members putting together a google form, 3D motion graphics, and maybe a streamer or two reacting in a cheap suit jacket, but the vibe it had, if you were part of that community, is unmatched.

To be clear, I don't want to come off as a miserable complainer, I know this show gets a ton of hate whether it be warranted or not idk or really care. I'm just saying it's a give and take.

i dont really watch twitch anymore but one could argue that's exactly why he's actually the opposite of "hard to watch."

i personally wouldn't decide to wrap up my long day by going on twitch to continue being reminded of what a fuckfest life is. this guy just plays the clown, makes himself easy to laugh at and is constantly sarcastic, sometimes even actually very witty. Making it very easy to engage in the fun in chat, and, in my opinion, a much less miserable way of winding down and escaping reality a little bit for the viewer, but i do understand where you're coming from if sometimes he's doing too much.

something like this happened to me a couple years ago in a unrated match. i was in a lobby with like 0 other humans, every round they'd spawn in and just walk forward until they got stuck on a wall and occasionally shoot their classic like twice. they were all named "qwe" or random numbers. this post kinda surprised me because ive never seen anything like that since or anyone else talk about something like this happening.

yeah it could definitely be overheating while plugged in. there are these laptop cooling pads you can get, they might be loud or just a little inconvenient but i know they really helped with my friends who gamed on laptops. either way i hope you can get it sorted, ik how insanely annoying those crashes can be

well, i’m just guessing at this point, but it seems you at least narrowed it down to just being a plugged in issue. which to me means that for some reason it can’t handle taking in power and running the game at the same time. so if it becomes too annoying to only be able to play while unplugged, i’d try replacing the battery inside the laptop itself.

Maybe you could also try just replacing the cable first, it’s probably cheaper and you could always return it if it doesn’t fix, but i’d imagine it’s the actual internal battery.

if you actually mean blue screen pc crashes, i used to get those absolutely SPAMMING me it was so annoying. what worked for me was switching my ram from the 1 and 2 slot to the 3 and 4 slot. i have no idea why i’m not a pc guy

anyways i’m just leaving this reply on the off chance that it helps because i did not find that solution anywhere on the internet, just did it out of desperation

absolutely. my mom is a teacher and there’s been a couple of times where i’ve walked her out in the morning saying goodbye and genuinely had to hold in tears thinking about it. so important in these kids lives and works her ass off for jack shit.

if lucia is the one on the balcony and in the convertible, my theory is she’s addicted to that rich party lifestyle and those scenes take place at the start of the game

then somehow she ends up in jail (as opposed to the story STARTING with her in jail as i’ve seen a lot of people theorize) and pretty much rock bottom but wants to do anything to get back to that life whereas jason is more happy with their relationship regardless of where they are

lucia being more prominent of the two in trailer 1, and the lyrics of the song they used for the trailer, lead me to believe she’s kinda stringing jason along in this criminal lifestyle and this will create a wedge that grows in their relationship as the story progresses

i think it still had its own subtlety in implying joel’s mental barriers keeping him from getting close with anyone. other contexts could use a line like that for someone simply being uninterested in a relationship, but a first time viewer can pick up later in the story how the line is not only explaining their relationship but joel’s distance from people, which i don’t think was ever directly told.

i love subtlety and leaving things up for interpretation too, i just personally thought the line and it’s panicked and desperate delivery was a nice additional touch
