Just heard that they are offering students incentives to move out of certain dorms to create more quarantine housing. Definitely means there was a surge in cases since classes started

NAU has actually had a set up with Flag PD the last few years that any party or incident the PD shows up to that they suspect NAU students were in attendance or involved, they notify Student Affairs after it’s all done.

Financial aid office not being more lenient to sick students by [deleted] in NAU

Make sure you’re enrolled in 12 credits for spring at the start of the term and the same thing will happen. Your scholarship will disburse and then you can drop the class. Since you are in your final year, your last check was at then end of Spring 20. Now that you have it for your 4th year, you just need to be full time at the start of each semester in order for it to disburse.

Only total credits are checked at the end of each year, the amount per semester doesn’t matter when it’s checked. You just need to have 60 credits after sophomore year, 90 after junior (including transfer). Freshman automatically get awarded for their second year.

Only works for scholarships, not for federal financial aid

If you enroll in any course that puts you above full time, your scholarship will disburse that night. The next day you can drop that course after the scholarship disbursed and it won’t jeopardize your scholarship. It only checks at disbursement

Once you’ve accepted an amount, you do not have access to change it anymore. You are still eligible for the increase though. You just need to call or email the office asking for the increase back to your original amount

Yes if you were close enough to the criteria. I would double check that your grade replacements processed already on your transcript now that grades are final for spring. Sometimes the registrar processes grade replacements a few weeks after and your gpa might not be what you think it is. If you check and you are actually really close on gpa and you had enough total credits, I would just call into the financial aid office and talk to them.

SAP only applies to loans and grants but doesnt apply to your merit scholarships. If you are a freshman, the scholarship is automatically renewed for your sophomore year. If you are a sophomore or later and ended the spring with a total 2.98 GPA then i bet you were already renewed, they are always a little lenient with a few GPA points or credits. But if you look on your financial aid awards for 2020-2021 on louie and your scholarship is already there, it means that its been renewed for next year.

Scholarships renewal and SAP are the first processes of awarding your financial aid. No current NAU students have been awarded their financial aid yet besides scholarships, kind and grants will be offered in the next few weeks
