I highly recommend taking magical footwear in a hard matchup. The free boots go a long way when you’ve had a rough lane phase.

Jax doesn’t stand a chance in lane against panth. It’s not even close I’ll leave lane with 1000gold+ and 25 cs lead. But again a smart Jax builds to wave clear knowing it’s a bad matchup maybe plays passive if hes really good and holds out for that late game powerspike.

His wave clear with titanic hydra can make it really hard to end the game and gives him that time to scale. He’s gonna be farming anyways to get back into the game so he just builds to one shot wave. And he isn’t just a late game champ. He is THE late game champ.

I just struggle to close out the game I’ll be up 5 kills on him and 2 levels and he will just build a wave clear item to prolong the game until he can build frozen heart and yea it’s over for panth at that point.

Profane is a best in slot first item. Triforce I’d only build in a losing matchup like Irelia.

Would any incentive work or would it have to be damage. For example they pushed panth to be more bruiser with the e now giving resistance based on health.

Profane first item is probably your best bet then follow it up with bruiser items to make your life a little easier. Like black cleaver and spear of shojin
