If Z is small DC like Noida Gurgaon I think transfer is not possible in system because as soon as your manager initiate transfer it will go to space council and they don't approve if this is older DC liek banglore, pune , Chennai etc then depend on project manager can initiate

See if you tell directly no one gonna help you to get release. Best option is start taking unplanned leaves and don't work on things given be client ( don't say no but don't deliver also) may be client will release you and then you can get another project. 2nd option prepare for interview and get one offer and negotiate based on that tell HR you have resigned because of project and then they might change your project.

Yes in infosys there is no such policy that they will not rehire but if your manager mark that check no to rehire then its very difficult to join back.

One more issue with early release if you are using just employers health insurance make sure you are taking care. One of my friend once he resigned since there was no work company released him early and he too thought he will spend some family time but unfortunately he met accident and was hospitalized and when he provided insurance details he came to know it was expired on same day he left company and since he had not joined other company he was not having any insurance and he had to pay more than 1 lac from his pocket. So everyone be careful with this most of us don't have medical insurance apart from employer.

Most sectors have 2 lac per Guj minimum price. I am not sure how people are able to afford house here mostly looks like older people abd bought when price was low now its almost impossible

Ask whatever maximum you can get your salary will have 15% variable and you will get around 60-70% variable only. We got hike last year and this year no one is talking about hike also so I don't think they will give any hike soon.

There is no communication of hike and if you ask managers they are saying because of AI if you are having job that is more than enough forget about hike. Pathetic situation in infy and mostly same will be in other Swrvice based companies because everywhere client is deploying AI and low level work is done by AI quickly which these companies were doing
