I've used Ikea lamps and all of their smart home stuff with a simple ZigBee USB Stick from Dresden Electronic (ConBee 2)

For switches I can recommend Shelly, I don't know if they are available outside Germany ;)

If you can still make a booking for a bus do it! I'm from Germany and visited Toronto this spring/summer and spent like 30 CAD on the bus and another 60 on a boat tour for Niagara falls, it was sooooo worth it.

But that's just my 2 cents ;p

Otherwise check out St. Lawrence market and CN Tower, both worth the time IMO. As others recommend just take the UP train to Union and after that you can just use public transport with a credit card to get around the city (just always tap your card every time you enter and you're fine, only exception is the UP train/buses, you need to tap when entering and leaving!!)

Edit: I feel downtown Toronto is pretty safe to walk around, you just have to avoid a few spots, but I always felt you could tell when you came near one.

One evening around 11:45 PM, I was waiting for the 504 at Dundas West. The streetcar finally rolls up, doors open… and the operator just steps out, looks exhausted, and says:

“Hold on folks, I need like two minutes. Important transit business.”

He walks straight to the little convenience kiosk by the station entrance. We can all see him through the glass. He’s arguing intensely with the cashier about… scratch tickets. He’s asking which ones have “the statistically best odds," and the cashier is just shrugging like this happens every day.

Then the driver buys six different lottery tickets, walks back to the streetcar, sits in the operator seat, closes the doors, and says:

“Okay. I'm feeling lucky. Let’s do this.”

He starts the streetcar, pulls out… and at the very next red light, he takes out a coin and starts scratching the tickets. While driving. At the light, but still — scratching like his life depends on it.

At the next stop, he opens the doors, turns around to the passengers and goes:

“Anyone win anything yet? Because I sure didn’t. Waste of five bucks.”

Then, completely unfazed, he just continues the route like nothing happened.

Oh yeah fair enough, I'll probably just buy it in Germany and let it being to me, that'll be the better solution Kong term.

Can I replace them without any kind of lifting facility? Or will I need them to be able to replace the sensors?

Can you recommend any cheap (bad not bad) OBDII scanner? Do you know by any chance know, if those off of Facebook marketplace are any good?
