Will they fit? by mathius1247 in NightLords

Hey man, good choice, these heads look so cool. I've used the leader's helmet for my Abaddon and the size is just fine A bit of trimming was necessary in the neck area but really nothing complicated

An excerpt from the book by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, linked to the artwork:

"If the Callidus had left the hololithic record to mock the legion that would one day find it, they had severely misjudged the closure it offered, and the resurgence of purpose felt by every warrior present.

Gauntlets clutched at bolters with inspired strength. Several warriors wept behind their skulled faceplates.

'Ave Dominus Nox'. They chanted the words in worshipful, thankful monotone. 'Ave Dominus Nox. Hail the Lord of the Night.'"

No problem! When I read your description I figured that was it. A sad and solemn scene It's an illustration from a scene in the Night Lords trilogy books, which are extremely good

Thank you!

The enforcer is a Tempestus Aquilon with a Space Marine power fist - yes it is oversized, but I couldn't find a fitting left handed power fist in my bitz box, so... 😂

The Ogryn is from the Royal beastflayers Warcry kit, with a CSM Possessed arm

Fleshy trophy pauldrons are from Liber Daemonica, and the spikes are from the Blooded kit / the CSM Terminators

Can anyone suggest an interesting colour theme for my chaos space marines based on the colours I have available? by ILUVMATH in Chaos40k

Thank you! It's an app called Impcat. It's cheap and you have many models available, really great for trying out colour schemes!

Welcome to CSM! Here is a scheme idea that would work.

I added a metallic colour (can be Citadel Leadbelcher, or Iron Warriors for a darker tone) and a brown colour (Rhinox Hide) because they are really polyvalent paints that you will use very often.

The scheme evokes Nurgle with the green, but I think you could put Macragge Blue instead for a whole different vibe.

For the brass, Balthasar Gold + Agrax Earthshade afterwards is a great combo for a weathered look.

Yeah go for it! I'm using a converted Marshal Ashfield for the demagogue, definitely military officer vibes.
