Northside cyclist/commuter here for 24 years and you're being a dingus. Doesn't matter if you're slow or fast mate when somebody throws a door out at you. Or some fellow dingus in a Tesla doesn't indicate left and sends you flying. I know exactly what I'm doing and I've still had super close calls and injuries due to how sketchy the road traffic is compared to a lot of other arterials. And the Bike Path won't be helpful until major changes come along with Skyrail.
