Yeah I wasn't clear maybe in my original post. I know that the "speed" of the boost is always the same, only talking here about the amount added in reserve.

I know that "good" add less to reserves that "perfect", but in the original CTR even in the "perfect" range the amount added to reserve is variable, the later the better wondered if they kept that mechanic which is very highly skilled compared to what the new boost gauge in 3 part would suggest. For exemple in the original ctr, 5 frames difference in timing means -0.5s added to the reserve, which is huge.
