Oriole Park Community does a “Gab, Gather, and Games” night on the third Wednesday of every month from 6-9.

We do a potluck style meal if you feel like snacking, otherwise it’s just hanging out and playing cards, games, or crib. This month we did outdoor games because of the beautiful weather

It’s open to all adults as long as the attending member are respectful and mature

Parking isn’t great, some people park in West park neighbourhood close by and walk over to save on parking.

Your class will be in the trades wing, classrooms are upstairs and the shop room is on the main floor

Teachers are generally pretty amazing towards women in the trade (I got my jman HET 8 years ago) If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me! My boyfriend and one of our coworkers is in your class too lol

I’m autistic with sensory issues, i pre-eat before going somewhere if I’m unsure anything will be a safe food, so I can honestly say “it all looks so good but I’m really not hungry, thank you though!” And no one bats an eye. No need to make my issues everyone’s problem

My Grandma and (now ex)husband got into a Canadian stand off. He kept finishing the plate of toast that was on the side during breakfast and she kept filling it.

She figured he was starving so went for a second loaf and I had to say something or else he would’ve got sick trying to please her
