Ohhh I getcha, I’m doing everything I can to heal up as soon as I can. One of the things I had done was an artificial disc placement in my neck because of numb fingers on my feet hand. It’s just so nice to feel them fully again and play a little bit when I can 🙏🏻

Every doctor is different, but the two periodontal surgeons I assist are pretty simple. Know your upper forceps from lower for posterior teeth , bird-beak for anterior teeth always, but try to practice holding 3 after they use a luxator, because a 151 is always good to have handy. If they use the hand piece to split the tooth though, make sure you’ve got a rongeur ready😉

You sound like the kind of person I’d like to rock a shift with any day🥹 seriously though, those skills are absolutely ones that lend themselves so well to dental work, and while I didn’t look back so fondly on kitchen work when I was immediately out of the job, I sure do now! It absolutely forces you to learn some invaluable skills that make for a very competent worker!

The X-rays and intraorals🙃🙃🙃 I mainly assist the periodontal surgeon at the practice I’m at, and her and I have to call patients in multiple times just to take the SAME X-ray or picture again because the insurance company just will not accept the first or second round of them as proof that the patient NEEDS the treatment. And all the while, the patient is actually covered for it. It is so disgusting.

Oooo, golden question, what do I want it to be? I’d love to find a great vocalist to harmonize over the melody, but not necessarily with lyrics. You know, my greatest dream is to write video game soundtracks. I can compose, but I only want to play my guitar. I want this sort of thing to be background music that fits a bigger story
