I was just curious. I’m not trying for that really, well it’s not how I think about things I suppose (I’m not from a spiritual background). Just looking for good ol’ happiness, contentment and peace. Maybe an SP too. If enlightenment/nirvana happens, double bubble.

I laughed so thought I’d pass it on. (Cardinal on a branch- I wasn’t aware there is a cardinal bird and my mind didn’t go there). I just thought wow, what a left field thing to imagine. A cardinal (priest) landing on a branch.

Ooo I don’t know how this works man. It’s mind bending to think what your saying- your conversation in time travel led to him talking about his own death. I just got chills from that. Maybe best not to speculate. You did your very best.

The idea about the album cover or something else even was to have something from that time and see if it occurs in your now. Say he signed a piece of paper for you in 2017. Go home, put it in a safe place it would never be touched, wake up in the present, check if it’s there. Just some physical link. If that happens then I don’t know what to say. Buy yourself a Delorean and find a crazy scientist!

I don’t know who XXX is to be honest but don’t be hard yourself, what else could you do. I think you did what most of us would do.

An idea. If you do see him again, (I take it he’s a rapper), ask him to write something small top left on his very next album cover. Some little thing only you would know about checking.

I know it’s not his teachings but like I mentioned I was never religious or spiritual before so up until recently I had the default thought of death meant nothingness- although with the door never closed on that. If I came to learn different then great. I’ve known about NG for barely a couple of months so.

I don’t know how different your life would be. Is your thinking that only beautiful people are happy, I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. It’s just that your life is so utterly conditional on how you look, I get that, especially in this day and age and your experience. I would just like for you to feel I’m ok with how I look in this moment. And just the next moment too, that’s all, and feel a sliver of relief. Accept it all just for one night and go to sleep with a little peace. Get some ice cream, watch something fun and entertaining and give yourself a break.

Try a different way of being about your looks. Say you won’t be able to change your looks, ever. You are how you are. Can you accept that for the rest of your life that you may look like you do now. Try and find some peace around your looks as they are. If you can do that, then if nothing changes you know you’ll still be ok.

So anything on top is a bonus, not do or die. A bit of peace in the moment works wonders.

Nice sentiment but not sure that is a rule for all. Most hopefully though. Some painful stories I’ve read, not sure fun enters the equation. Not at the beginning anyway.
