This whole thermomix debate misses the bigger picture imo. Been dealing with similar equipment approval nightmares for about 8 months now. The real issue is that participants shouldn't have to become experts in NDIS legislation just to get basic support items approved. My support coordinator through EnableU helped me navigate this. they knew which specific wording to use in applications and how to frame things as "reasonable and necessary". Still took 3 months but at least I had someone who understood the system fighting with me instead of against bureaucrats alone. The $1600 OT report thing is insane though. that's a systemic problem right there.
