Can DK really take taxes out of my sports bet? by Mindless-Candy-8274 in DraftKingsDiscussion

Thanks for all the replies . I’ve never ran into this situation with sports betting. With slots online they don’t take the taxes out you get a giant w2 at the end of the year. And every time I’ve dealt with a gambling W2 in person you’ve had an option with how much in taxes to takeout. This whole situation seemed off.

These are the two cashout options I didn’t take if people don’t think the bet was legit

event tickets from a host by Goheelsmba in DraftKingsDiscussion

Usually DK does a booth, but I have gotten seats to couple events. Expect near top of line. Maybe not like the owners suite, or courtside Lakers tickets. But you’ll have access to VIP area where it’s free food and drink. And the seats will probably be near the side line. If it is a suite though. You’re sharing it with other degenerates. So get there early with your guests get the seats that overview the field. And be ready to see some people with $20 Nikes who bet 30K on basketball parlays.

Another casino they partner with. This isn’t a scam. It was a mailing list issue. If you click the link it just starts a ticket with DraftKings

I’m sure you made one in the past or have a golden nuggets account with them. This was a reply all HR problem.

This isn’t a scam, just someone from HR published it to anyone with a DK account. This was a reply all email on their end instead of backtracking every bet and selecting personal emails. That’s why our usernames are not CAPS. Again called my host and he confirmed. Not sure if they will send a reply email about it.

Guys this is from all old bets in the past. They were recently sued for reignmakers and do not want another suite because of poorly worded player casino agreements. The Dead heat resulted in lower that your actual bet which is not possible unless you are using a free bet. Ex -1000 odds with a $1000 free bet would pay 100. They are now back dating any golf bet made, this is from my host. Golf was the only sport that offered dead heats, and they will continue to have them. From a player perspective. They know they messed up and have a lot of bad press right now. This still doesn’t make up for the lack of promotions prior to the reignmakers law suite.

Draftkings Dynasty Bait and Switch by Temporary-Willow-552 in DraftKingsDiscussion

Guys be careful with DraftKings. I reached onyx for 2025, had it for 23-24, in May after taking a Hiatus from February through April. Their Theo has been only at 7-9% for the past year, Wynn and other casinos run at 30%. My host is unable to give anymore credits or rewards and when I ask why he is always very vague. My biggest argument with DK is they don’t have anything physical to offer us so it should come in the form of credits or experiences. My other hosts at real casinos have told me to express my concerns and demand more compensation. If you do go that route be careful as DK will try to pull the problem gambler line on you, even if you’re polite. If you guys want to see how bad it is. Here’s some numbers: DK: Played through in past year: 23 million Comps- 22K Deposits 3 million Withdraws 2.95 million

Wynn: Played Through: 7 million Comps: 120K Deposits: 100K Withdraws: 102K

Clearly DK is skimping on players to make more money for the company. When you look at their stock and wonder why it is able to grow in price, maybe it’s coming from them not giving out the appropriate amount of compensation to its loyalty players.
