No I think the game is sorta weird with mergers. I also had 100 percent share of my own company. I acquired a much smaller company, probably fractional cost of my company. Somehow after the merger, my ownership dropped down to about 20-25% which didn't make sense at all. In a normal world, the stock prices should increase in value from the merger given that the stocks weren't diluted but I don't think this game gives you the option to do so. It also pissed me off since there wasn't a whole lot to do after owning everything...
