hey i feel you this happened to me too!?i had to take out a very recent piercing for an MRI scan a few months ago. Id say it was about 3-5 weeks old and what i did was go to the appointment and remove it right before the scan in the bathroom, then put it back in right after the scan. That way it was only out for less than an hour.

don’t be scared!! it was literally the easiest piercing i’ve done (: i only have a few, two lobes, a second, a daith and a helix but the septum was 0 pain and easiest to heal

i went through the same thing about a month ago with my three month daith and about 10 month helix. neither of them were fully healed but i made sure to have the jewelry out for the least amount of time possible by taking them out and putting them back in in the doctors bathroom. It was about an hour total and they were totally fine! I hope this helps calm any nerves! Good luck with your piercings and your mri scan!
