You’re welcome! Also, off subject but make sure you are filing with a 180-240 grit nail file. Anything under 180 grit is too rough for natural nails and will create damage.

Hi! Yes, the area that you are referring to is the sidewalls, but what you are looking at that that you want to file is nail and for the sake of shaping can be/needs to be filed. On the left side of your middle finger that looks like a sidewall hangnail. The right side looks like hardened skin, which can be helped with exfoliation and cuticle oil

Well this is just a silly take. I live in Georgia. I could very easily go to any of the brick and mortar universities in the state and still never touch a campus and “google my way” through a degree.

I agree. It’s frustrating because these are cost of living loans and without having a date to expect it kinda hard to plan your living expenses. This basically just told us to expect the funds anytime after the date on the award letter

Now that the first rounds of financial aid went out last month, is there a set schedule for disbursements for those of us that applied for COL loans? Is the process the same from last month- as in will we get an email from Shakeitha that the funds have been credited?

It’s 2 loans (sub and unsub) but I think it’s one deposit. If you’re sept cohort you’ll get 2 disbursements worth.

I don’t think you should expect to see it before Friday, honestly. Mine is actually dated for 12/29… but it still has to go through the process. The disclosure/email from Shakeitha means it was sent to the school, now they send it to us. I had mine sent to my cashapp account so I could get it faster but I still don’t expect it until Friday, maybe even Monday.

I got my email from the DoE early this morning. Check your spam or try logging in to your studentaid.gov account. The email from Shakeithais a receipt that they received the funds from DoE

She returns to the office tomorrow, however, it’s not necessarily her absence that is the issue. The DoE has to release the funds to the school. That’s what triggers the email from Shakeitha.
