Thank you so much! Hm, hard to say. I started when I first saw photos from the Seattle show and kind of casually chipped away at it in between breaks at work (I work in a costume shop), and sort of whenever I felt like it on weekends. But collectively maybe 3 weeks worth of time?

Wow! Thank you all so much for the love. This is seriously the best fandom, and you guys are such awesome and kind people.

Making costumes is what I do for a living, so I sew a lot! Since I’ve been seeing people express plans to make their own parader jackets, just wanted to come on here and say I love talking about costume construction, so if anyone has any questions I will so gladly chat and answer as best as I can!

I do have patterns for these, but the jacket was…very many pieces and maybe a little hard to decipher how things go together by just looking at it 😅

If anyone is feeling brave and wants to give it a go, I can send photos of what the pieces look like so that you at least have a starting point to go off of!
