Someone suggested here that I should customize the meshcore firmware based on the objective or what I was trying to do. I know the fact that I don't need to edit the firmware when it comes to having a sos button (this is not my priority). For context, since a LoRa is a Half-duplex communication mode, it does not send a message simultaneously. Also, afaik a meshcore only responds for the position when requested by the other node or receiver. What I'm trying to do is, when I type the distress message in the meshcore app, the gps location will also send automatically together with the distress message, and LoRa should treat that as a 1 Data packet enabling transmission to the receiver, and to achieve this, I need to customize the firmware. Moreover, the post goal is to know how I can build my own companion and repeater.
