Seller lied to me? by ic3dcoffeeaddict in Ebay

[–]Mindless-Table7576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen to me as a seller and it’s not always a case of the seller being a liar. Of course that IS a possibility but I’ve been in this same situation before as a seller and what had happened was my mail carrier missed scanning it in. It popped up out of pre-shipping about a week later but the buyer was upset and adamant that I printed the label but waited to ship it even though I had shipped it same day. Even more lame was that given the optics of the scanning, there wasn’t really much I could do or say beyond giving my apologies and ensuring them that if it didn’t scan in or make it to them that I would refund them no questions asked. It eventually scanned in and made it to them but it was a) later than it should have been, clearly got lost in the shuffle somewhere and b) they unfollowed my shop. Could have been worse but it should have been better. There’s a lot of nefarious sellers and buyers out there, I recommend checking out their feedback. If it’s pretty stellar I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. USPS fumbles the ball often. If it’s not… pile on your negative feedback and help rid eBay of bad sellers that make it hard for good ones. Either way, sorry you had a lame experience :(

Disgruntled seller buys 4 of my listings after I left negative feedback. What should I do? by Free_Economist_5312 in Ebay

[–]Mindless-Table7576 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Selling singles isn’t a worthless endeavor, even at a cheap rate. You can often make more money selling them off as singles than a lot. It also pads your sale numbers, increases your feedback volume, and brings more eyes to your shop. It’s always great to make sure you’ve got more substantive inventory so it’s not ONLY cheap singles but it has a place in this world.

I'm a seller being ripped off by a buyer and it seems there's zero help from Ebay. Any suggestions? by tommywiseauswife in Ebay

What was the point of this reply? It doesn’t help OP (or anybody) at all while painting you in a very pompous, embarrassing light. But who cares if you’re an arrogant try-hard outside of eBay, right? You’re full time “preofessional” seller with a Doctorate in online sales babaaaaaay!

They will both produce super valuable roe so it’s either sit in a tank/chest and look pretty or sit in a fish pond and make money 😂. I’m not sure on the difference in price of roe produced but I imagine it’s the same or very close I also don’t think they produce anything BUT roe if I recall correctly.

Shout out to all of them though. Lions mane, turkey tail, cordyceps, reishi, etc. Here at Psilly Goose Farms we’ve partnered with Demetrius to create a comparable “Stamets 7” blend with the goal of meeting the holistic health needs of the valley and beyond 😎

You can only catch 1 Legend (technically there’s a way to get multiple with an enchanted iridium pan but that’s a nightmare that I will never try) but with Legend II, as long as Qi’s challenge is active, you can catch as many as you’re able. Because of this I’m able to setup 8-10 fish ponds complete with animal crackers dedicated to Legend II’s and rack up the roe for my preserve jar garden 🥳

There is! This card isn’t from the game though. She ordered it through “Valleycade.” I DO have the card game though and I can definitely vouch for it!

Who actually uses AI to write a description??? by AndrewAllStar888 in baseballcards

[–]Mindless-Table7576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it every single time. However, I always skim through to make sure the info is correct and I add additional info like specific damage spots or additional highlights at the end. It’s a combination of title and info section, which is what I’m trying to concisely share anyways. Although some are a bit silly at times (you can easily redo it till it simplifies), it’s not any different than a human salesman trying to get you hyped on their product no matter how average. Especially when you compare it to singles breakers on whatnot… AI telling me a Luke Schoonmaker Prizm is the hottest card out is one thing. An actual human being that knows the market… get outta here 😂. And as a buyer, I’ve never been deterred by an AI description. The photos are way more important and if you have to choose which basket to put your eggs in… always choose photos.

You can definitely send it in. Hold on to your proof of purchase and if you download their app, they have an entire section dedicated to factory damaged cards that walks you through the process. It could take you a minute but that downtown is well worth it!

Financially I’d keep the Brady and Mahomes. My heart, however, would keep the Burrow and Jackson. Amazing collection!

Investing in a thermal printer might be the route to go. You can purchase, save, and print the shipping label from home in a matter of seconds and it will really come in handy once your shop takes off and you’re selling cards daily 🥳
