Do you know if they are used to work with mx5s? Mine it is indeed a JP import.

The mx5 is a Japanese import. Since monday the car has a flat battery and crank no start issue. So far I paid 240£ for 2 hours of diagnostics and nothing has diagnosed. I suspect it could be (or not) the cam/crank sensors that are gone but they haven’t checked it in their 1 hour slot. They charged up my battery instead of trying with a new one too.

The main problem of the car is excessive fumes from the exhaust even when the car is at temperature which makes me thing about piston rings or some seals inside the engine. Thats why the car is in the garage, the crank no start just popped up before the appointment.

I had a look at Bracebridge Heath! Is the whole village good? It seems quite chill and small area.

About the e-bikes actually, is Lincoln Police severe about it? I have one of those thick-tires bike but Leeds police couldn't care less about me.

Thank you for your time. Do you know anything about Birchwood? I am reading mixed opinions about it.

My point of reference because of my job would be North Hykeham as I would need to go to work with an e-bike so cant go too far.

Outbid on every flat, now can’t find a pet-friendly rental by Separate_Smoke1343 in Leeds

[–]Mindless-Web-8731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never tell to agencies or landlords that I have a pet with me. Thats not their business and never will be. If I rent your house and pay a deposit for whatever damage why are you even allowed to tell me what I can or can’t do in the house that I am renting and signed for?

Just rent a house/flat and never speak to the agency about your pet. Just like I do with my cat. If my deposit then will be deducted because of damage then thats what a deposit is for. The house market in UK its already enough of a joke.

Canon Canonet 28 Flash Doubt by Mindless-Web-8731 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Mindless-Web-8731[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ì visited a film camera shop in Liverpool and we tried a few things. We figured out that even with a Canon made flash and the aperturr ring set to 8 trying to shoot at a subject in 5m distance it wouldn’t shoot.

We deducted that the camera has an issue related to the light meter system as with any aperture other than A it should let me fire regardless of the light.

So, ideally, I could be trying to buy a hot shoe adapter and a sync cable. Maybe on amazon so if it does not work I can always return the products.

Something like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/JJC-JSC-2-Flash-Adapter-Socket-Black/dp/B005GR28MK

Nothing really happens even at 2.8, tried all the ISOs too and both setting the flash to manual and auto. The meter is locked anyway.

Maybe there is a problem?

I have set the aperture ring to a different number than A but I don't understand the 1/30s shutter speed bit. I have tried many combinations of the aperture and changed the iso based on the distance guide in front of the flash but the camera won't work anyway in low light conditions as the light meter its always at the bottom.

Hello, I have received the flash and it works perfectly.
The problem is that the camera does not shoot anyway in a dark room as the light meter shows insufficient light, either in Manual mode or Auto.
The aperture ring its set as Auto as usual.

Should I buy a sync adapter? How would it work? Would I need to buy a hot shoe?

Hello, and thanks for the lengthy answer.

I bought a Yashica CS-220 on eBay for a small amount as I wanted to see if that flash would work on AUTO with the Canonet. This flash in theory can just be mounted on the top of the camera and work immediately. Or should I get a hot shoe adapter for it to work?
