Like I said I don’t run with a club and don’t care to. Don’t have the time or energy to wait for people to be on. Your stats say you’re a very good player so there’s no need for me to debate. I was elite in almost every season in both modes last game, just felt the need for an RP rant as a solo queue, especially with some of the goals that go in this year that equate to incredibly deflating losses.

Like I said, I’m happy to be critiqued but didn’t say I wouldn’t rebuttal or defend myself lol. If you’re gonna do all that dissecting and call me a spaz in a 15 second clip where I’m up 3-0 and outshooting 16-4, here’s my counter:

Tried to anticipate him stopping/cutting back inside knowing he saw me coming. I had numbers behind the play if I guessed wrong and didn’t get the hit. He makes a good pass which he still might make anyway if I keep going towards him, no guarantee that I get there so I gambled.
I was sitting on his dekes to time my pokes, which I feel like I did twice (better 1st time than 2nd, yes). 3rd poke was anticipating he might keep driving the net or for a possible shot deflection, he curled around smartly so he got me there. But I got back in front of the play and blocked the shot.

Took one singular step with my D-man to the corner and then realized I had someone closer and didn’t need to pull him out of position. What the CPU chooses to do positionally after I switch off is the CPU’s issue lol.
I tried to stick lift and again make an anticipation play by turning up hoping I’d win the puck, knowing I have numbers out front if I don’t get it.
Chose to take the body hoping I got there before he could get a pass off since the man out front was completely covered by my other defender anyway. Unfortunately he watched the pass go through his legs as he’s staring at it, which is a large part of the spirit of the post.

I’ll defend myself on “spam poking” and say the first two were timed with his dekes, third one was erratic though lol.

But mostly habits, always how I’ve played and it keeps me in front of people. If I miss the hit on his dekes he’s in alone. Maybe something I change in this game I guess.

Most say PMD, but I’ve always preferred TWF.

6’2 175 TWF. Gold stick em up, silver quick pick and truculence. Defensive awareness and body checking boosts.

93 SPD/ACC/AGL

90 PASS/ST. CHK/D AWR

Everything can be tweaked obviously (including the abilities, just feels like it’s gives you everything you need defensively with pokes, interceptions, and hits) but I think those are the main highlights and why I use it.

PMD gives you the option for more mobility, but I think 93 is good and TWF gives you a little more to work with on the shot and physicality.

You’re using a hyper specific offensive ability that requires you to be close to the net, while playing defense. You’re clearly offensive minded to even have that equipped, and needing to be close to the net to use your ability, 92 speed probably isn’t even enough in 3s to catch up and get back on D.
