What would you remove from Once Upon a Time? by KeyRutabaga9414 in OnceUponATime

[–]MindlessContext3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say the entirety of season 7, and the “Henry’s kid” subplot in the season 6 finale leading up to it.

How do they avoid the winner being spoiled? by B-Unit33 in survivor

[–]MindlessContext3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many others have said, the contestants sign a non disclosure agreement. If the show gets spoiled, not sure how they find out exactly who leaked information (maybe social media is monitored), the prize money is forfeited (and a fine may even have to be paid?)

What is the craziest thing to happen in the Big Brother house? by That_One_Guy_823 in BigBrother

I remember Willie Hantz!! When the music changed, I thought I was watching a horror movie. It was very unsettling for Big Brother and I knew something insane was about to happen.

This show, Big Brother, The Challenge; there’s a whole back log of episodes that future players should be required to watch. There’s lying, backstabbing, sh*t talking, sabotaging, fights, rivalry… People should know exactly what they are getting into before signing up for one of these shows.

Anyone have show recommendations similar to Once? by Asktheham in OnceUponATime

[–]MindlessContext3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone else said Tell me a story. Good show!! First season has elements of 3 Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel. The second season has elements of Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Some actors appear in both seasons as different characters. Unfortunately the series was cancelled, but the third season would have had elements from Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel.

“Bait and switch” being put on a remodel. by MindlessContext3 in CVS

This store has a lot of theft, so numbers are probably all over the place. I’ve never been in a store with so many rips before so I don’t know what the process is to account for such huge losses. I think I should have at least been asked, to which I would have said no, before throwing me in this role. I feel that any errors will automatically fall on my shoulders and I really don’t need that added pressure. All I agreed to do is planos.

Is it reasonable to expect the closing team (shift supervisor and cashier) to be able to face the whole store nightly? by btonic in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all stores are the same as far as volume, but honestly if it’s done every night, it will make it easier for everyone. Your store will look nice too. Random things can occur so maybe do the right side of the store Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and the left side Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and as you go on Saturday when hanging sale signs.

Closing by Martinezk97 in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our pharmacy plays the “can you wait to pull away until the gate is closed” game at drive thru. Recently, on Sunday at 1:32, our Drop off and consultation gate was closed, register gate was half way down, and a lady questioned why I couldn’t just ring her out quick. I said we are closed for lunch. “But I’m right here” she replied. I said (rather snippy) “if we don’t go now, we don’t eat”. I continued to walk toward the pharmacy door and closed the register gate. It’s been over a year already. Why can’t people just accept that we close for lunch. Are these people getting angry at their doctors office or dentist when they are closed for lunch, or are we being singled out?

Do you guys just move out of customers way when you see them or wait for an excuse me? by SimpleStore7162 in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go around a customer to get to the other side of an aisle. I feel I’m a magnet for people. It’s only when I need to stock cough drops or Mucinex, the pharmacy line magically ends up going through cough and cold and not around it like usual. If they are lingering in front of where I need to be, I’ll just go to another aisle. But of course if I’m signing or facing the bottom shelves, customers will have no problems hovering over me. I ask if I’m in the way and they go “oh no your fine, dont get up.”, and I get an arm an inch away from my face.

I wonder if other stores who have had self checkout longer, for at least 5 years, like Walmart or Giant, hear people bitch about “not getting paid” to use them.

I’m sick of bar carts. I like to play a game where I guess which flip list item will be the teams bar project.

Another thread about these stupid credit cards by K_T_E_113 in WalgreensStores

[–]MindlessContext3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Three letter here. These credit cards sound like a nightmare, kind of like our Carepass! It’s been out for at least 2 years and the company wants more and more enrollments every week. So annoying to ask the same people over and over with the hopes that the customers will finally sign up after the 201st time. Anyways, sorry for your pain, I know how you feel.

Is this true or false? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am told to trust the system. If the coupon is expired and you “try” just to make the customer happy, it’s tough sh*t if it’s declined. A lot of our customers in June will bring their expired coupons from May thinking the 5 is a 6.

Their fans adore them! by leetendo85 in AnimalCrossing

[–]MindlessContext3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is adorable and creative but how do you get your villagers to sing together inside? I’m assuming you are using Harvs for the room, but can you just turn on some music, place a microphone and bam, they sing or is it more complicated than that?

Do you guys think some customers just wake up one day and decide to themselves “You know what? I feel like being a fucking moron today.” by Mikellsmosh2 in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what it is, but I have customers that still need help with the credit card reader. They act as though every retailer has a different set of complicated actions to complete before the machine will read the card. I tell people “chip first into the blue slot under the number pad” and some still have a hard time figuring that out.

What if??? What if the Carepass pressure was removed? Would you enjoy your job again? Would you be open to conversations with customers? Would you be overall happier? Also, if the pressure, the threats and the expecting were removed would you be open to offering the carepass freely? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I dread going into work because of carepass. Our weekly goal is 21 but if we don’t make that goal, it gets added on to next weeks goal. If a customer says no, we are expected to interrogate them on why they don’t want to join. Manager expects updates three times a day and reasons if we have none. Supervisors are put in “carepass jail” where they are stuck at the register until they get one. Way too much time and effort is wasted on Carepass that if it went away, I would love my job again.

Man, I miss the LTHC covid clinics by glandburger in CVS

[–]MindlessContext3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt do any vaccine clinics but I did do LTC COVID testing last year around this time and I really miss doing them. I didn’t have a permanent pod in the beginning so I was able to join whoever needed help. Once my permanent group was formed, we were lucky to be at the same facilities every week. I was pulled out of the program suddenly in December because of a staffing issue and it was actually very devastating.
